An A Class is something I could really fancy having a play about with. Love the shape. Tom A curse word car to spanner on though. Agreed quite possibly the worst built Mercedes had the misfortune to own a diesel that stripped the single tiny bolt that holds two injectors out of the head. This was before Merc did fixed price short blocks because of the issue. Multiple so called experts failed with timeserts and helicoils and I ended up drilling and tapping the head myself. I guess there wasn’t enough meat between the cylinders because I was always low on compression on one cylinder after. I got it motd running on three with a wheel bolt I machined the end of so I could screw it into the injector pipe to seal against the pressure so it didn’t smoke. Sold it at auction. Biggest loss I ever took on a car. I did actually love it before it broke was amazingly practical for something smaller than a fiesta. And it had the best factory fitted seat covers ever that you could put in washing machine

I’d buy a cheap Amazon flaring tool rather than remake those pipes. They work fine on soft metals

This is ace - controversial but I can’t believe how cool these look with the 90s body kit removed. I’d be binning it personally and running it without bumpers.

Surely we have mention a dimma Peugeot or XPack capri in here. I really liked the xpack box arched fiesta mk1 kit there was a metallic blue one in the town a grew up in.

Thanks for the photos. Do you know if this was a genuine Carrera entrant Sorry I have no idea I didn’t speak to the owner. It sounded very fruity when it pulled up and had a large bore exhaust. I did take a shot of the f100 not sure how I missed it

Love the 105E still giving excellent service. It did a whole stage with smoke pouring out of the rear. I guess it turned out to be diff related as it pretzelled the prop shaft and they were bolting in a spare at the lunch break it lived to fight in the afternoon though!

It’s a Netflix thing to use retro motors Sex Education is a mix of smart phones and seventies and eighties cars but then the odd modern supercar thrown on

Don't think I've ever used them for insurance but this guy is ingrained in my childhood telly watching days. Does anyone else find themselves occasionally imitating the "oh yes" even to this day? Oh no no no
