I'm awful and I've neglected this car in a leaky garage for about a year now.
Plans are afoot to rescue it though.

Just so you know, on the Tu engine you have, it's a single point injection throttle body not a carb And the stuttery acceleration is more than likely a temp sensor, however! If my memory serves, and you have a Haynes manual, there's a 2pin diagnostic plug in the engine bay, should be green. There's a simple thing with an led bulb you can do to make it show fault codes. Mine was a 1995 but both are injection so yours should have it.

Any news on the build mate? I have the car out of the garage finally! Rrg prep begins Maybe not, fuel pump number three has now died a death. Time to get an electric one I guess.

Count me in for the cat herding! Sounds fun Yeah this is what we feel we are doing in the paddock pretty much all day gewy Needs sound for full effect This is so accurate xD I think we need that song played every time there's cars coming into the pits this year!

Did you create a login and password first? I was using existing login from the weekender. All sorted now. I needed to enter personal and car details (sorry if I missed that instruction) before it would stop giving me an error. I've entered for the morning session, but if you need to move me to the afternoon for space or entry number reasons I'm cool with that. Same goes with the cat herding. I'm happy to lend a hand in the sessions if you need any extra bodies. 🙂 Count me in for the cat herding! Sounds fun

Any news on the build mate? Not just yet, had to pop the ax away in the garage for a bit so I could get my MX-5 out and clean that up and have been using that recently, the ax will be pulled out of the garage this week so fear not there shall be progress! I need to fit a new wheel bearing on the ax on the front but I may just do both to future proof it. And I should really pull my finger out and get the four bolt rear beam on! The 16v engine meanwhile has been mothballed in my works storage unit. That too will be dug out soon and finished off.

Thanyou everyone who contributed to this brilliant show . In particular thankyou to both guys deciding which group we ran in and where .I was really chuffed that I was allowed to tracktime my SSC STYLUS Sprint car . The concern I had over where I might be running group wise , the team not preselecting groups before the day , was unfounded . They did an amazing job slotting cars together , even after refuelling and ending up in a different group , they got me up front every one of my 4 sessions I couldn't believe just how fast this was! Lovely vehicle man, also the Alfa last year was wicked too

Had a blast! Got track time last year and had great fun on the autosolo this year! Truly the best show around in mine and it seems many others opinions! A few mates of mine came along and all commented on how chilled out and great it was Truly stellar work RR crew!

Exactly Right I got the passes on Friday All info packs and passes going in post on Monday First Class (Except those that have told me they are camping or coming from overseas) Hopefully everyone will have told me if their delivery address is different to the address on paypal account etc We do also have a back up plan where we can send out pdf copies of both by email No need to reply to this, it's FYI only: I didn't get my BNMAC pass yet and it seems none of the BNMACers have done so. I've already said in the BNMAC thread it will be fine whatever, so tomorrow if they haven't come I'll PM you bstardchild with my proposed plan to get everyone in for the BNMAC stand. Which basically boils down to everyone having the club code to hand and me standing at the entrance and offering fruity bum pats to everyone. Can I get a fruity bum pat even though I'm not on the bnmac stand? Though I may end up popped in with you as my stand is just my car now due to various things

I've got my entry ticket ages ago but not the afternoon tracktime ticket You won't receive a ticket, you'll receive an information pack with a pass to allow you into the paddock, these get sent out once everyone is paid up so fear not you'll get it in time.

HoTWire in you previous reply you said the: "Right now, for your diary : 18th August at Shelsley Walsh. Entry tickets are £10 in advance or £15 on the gate." and the shop only shows the £40 pound tickers where do I get the Advance tickets from??? The only tickets available this far in advance are the camping tickets. Retro rides events are planned, organised, setup and run by the same small team. As previously stated, the day tickets are not sold until closer to the event. Fear not regarding getting one of those tickets as already stated they are pretty much unlimited. Any information regarding the hill climb will be disclosed in another thread but this will likely not occur until after the Weekender which is in may. Hope this clears things up.
