Great build! Iโve just bought a v plate micra on bike carbs, it all very new territory for me but I must say they are great fun. Thereโs soo much tuning potential with them I had never realised.

I have just been given a 1947 Shelley dl 4ton screw jack by my neighbour who used to use it to stop cars from falling on him as a youngster. I had it about 10min before I took it apart and cleaned it up. It needs paint but it's a nice piece of old school engineering.

A good mate of mine had one. 600 or 700cc ? He said it was one of the best cars for pure chuckable thrash it fun. He bought it for pennies and even went to look at a big block 1 litre conversion if I remember correctly

Great cars I had a 1.6td estate, put coil overs on it and ran it from 188k miles to 245k miles just servicing and a cam belt. I always keep my eyes open for another estate

I would be up for 2 days intensive type course. I work long shifts and seldom get evenings off and every other weekend. So 2 days together works well for me.

Yep the visibility is great,(far better than the meriva we have, it manages to loose cars in the a post at round abouts) I had 5 sunroofs in the back that was really relaxing to sit and watch the rain! Surprisingly good off road as well, I managed to get up some tracks I was told were 4x4 only! Then my luck ran out on a snow covered hill in shropshire and got stuck. As its was light enough on the back to push the back out I believe pug 306 seats fit with a bit of modding.

I had a multispace 2ltr hdi. It was ace and I so wanted to lower it and mod it. Problems being my work car at the time and time constraints meant I didn't do much with it apart from driving it. Brilliant car. so much so I gave it to my old man who loves it. The one thing that bugged me was the steering wheels is slightly offset to the left, so used the column as a brace for my leg during hard cornering.

Those owner type jeeps are cool as. I have been thinking of ways to build or import one. Just down the road from me we have the main importers for jeep parts from the Philippines.

Ahh cool so just like t5 front dropping the strut through the hub and caddy rear axle flip, As with your self I was looking at vito's etc a vw vans are far more than I can afford at the mo and every thing has been done to them. I have had a few slammed vws over the years, so slamming a transit it very tempting. There is a transit local to me that's slammed with sunroof side windows rolling about.

I used to have one, they are amazing on fuel and great fun to drive, mine got written off when some one ran into it at a roundabout. Once it got up to speed it would chug along rather well.
