another thing to remember is that mini fitment 13x7's will have a hefty offset (et0 to et-7), so very similar to teh AE86.
and insted of wobble bolts, you could always get them re-drilled to 4x100, prob cheaper than teh wobble bolts.

As long as it is insured and the work is pre-booked at a garage, you can legally drive it there as it is MOT work

I fricking love Monza's, they're starting to rocket up in price now though Manual, pre-facelift would be my choice too, I'd love to have one with an MV6 (if possible) or a V8 (probably less possible).. Good stuff elk! V8's are easy, was a holden version of the senny that came with it fitted I seem to recall. Nice big engine bays in these, V12's are possible Looking forward to seeing this evolve, loved my T plate manual, much preferred its chrome to the old mans GSE (did look good having both on the drive ), but the 4 speed manual was like a 5 speed but missing 5th, great on the twisties, but a pain on the M ways. 1 day I'll build what I wanted to do to mine, dark racing green with some wide american racing 5 spokes (bullet style)

Now Sold and paid for now listed on ebay, 99p no reserve www.ebay.co.uk/itm/140923015882?ssPageName=STRK:MESELX:IT&_trksid=p3984.m1558.l26491999 V plate Felicia 1.9 pick-up. Was originally a cube van, but had been converted to pickup. Its got 126k on the clock, but is in daily use doing 60 miles a day to work so this will go up (sits nicely on the motorways and I have been averaging 50.1 MPG as well ). Its taxed until end or March and MOT'd until August. Its not got any service history with it, but the previous owners tell me that the cambelt and glow plugs were done at 110k. I've replaced the battery last month. Mechanically, it works as it should except the power steering pump is shot (drives ok like it, but the steering is heavy as you'd expect) and is quite nippy off the mark and is good fun on the B roads The shell is also very solid, the sills and rear 1/4s are very good, there is 2 spots of bubbles on the bed, and the rear bulkhead is holed in a few places (I've sealed it at the moment with rubberised stone chip and then paint to stop the rain coming in ) and the tailgate it pretty rough (and is also not bolted on at the hinges, was a surprise when I dropped the tailgate down for the 1st time just needs the bolts and it'll be all good). The front grill is also a little dented (and someone has tried to paint it to look like the VW grill) and the front bumper mount on the drivers side is broken and the bumper is cracked. The paintwork isn't brilliant, but its respectable enough (I was going to give it a repaint in the spring) Mods wise, its got a set of golf GTi teardrop alloys, remote central locking, mk2 golf Gti steering wheel and a centre console from a higher spec Felicia. The interior is grubby though, but I plan on attacking it over the coming weeks if I get a chance. I'm selling as it hasn't jelled with me, and I've decided that I really wanted another MX5 (which I've sorted ), so not looking for any PX's Pics Drivers side typical rust points on these Pass side typical rust points on these and the 2 bits of grot in the bed

What happened to the S-Ltd you were thinking of? Having a look around at what is about 1st before rushing in. Plus I'd rather get one that doesn't need new back arches like that one

Evening all Been hankering after another MX for a while now, and now I've got permission from my wife Budget is £1k, must be: - in good shape (body and mechanicaly), - have decent MOT left and some tax would be nice. - Must be a manual. - If its an import, must have an imobiliser Engine wise, 115 BHP long nose or a 1.8, colour not worried about (blue or black would be nice), spec not worried about. And if anyone fancies a mk2 VW caddy pickup (skoda) diesel in PX, all the better So, what ya got Cheers Craig

I think he means at his work, picture showing up fine Plenty of MoD satin's aside from green or black, a darker colour would work well with the white wheels, although PRU blue or even grey would work well with white. Matte orange you say

My mates selling his landy www.ebay.co.uk/itm/121065960058Defender 110 Van/commercial fully rebuilt from chasis up. Fold up seats in the back - again new Chassis stripped down and waxoyled 200tdi engine fitted inc silicon cooling pipes and exhaust Only 78k miles New HD clutch (bearing release arm, plate etc), inc slave & master cylinder Complete chequer plate kit - powder coated in black Full length safari roof rack (£'s) New Starter Motor New Wiper Motor New temp gauge and sender New fuel tank sender New Battery monitor Taxed and Tested Insa Turbo tyres all round - good tread New swivel joints inc bearings/seals rear fold up bench seats with seat belts in the back new door handles inc replacement locks - the locks arent great and stick sometimes (just being honest) resprayed New lights all round New grill & headlight surrounds New indicator/wiper stalks 4 x new wide wheel arches New windscreen inc seal All ball joints/steering is solid with no slack New brake pads New rock sliders inc side steps New tub sliders Tow bar with electrics (not checked as never towed with it - genuine LR connector though) Gearbox/transfer box/diffs all solid and work correctly without clunks. Starts first time every time, even in sub zero temp. Bad bits - again Interior - its all there, no obvious tears or rips, though is clearly used - the box etc is great, dash has wear. As anyone looking will know Defenders don't have the finesse of a £90k Range Rover. The screen wash is now a seperate button as I got frustrated try to chase the cables and identify why the brand new stalk didnt make them work. Rear door doesnt lock from the outside - it shuts securely though. Genuine reason for sale as we are moving and I have to get rid of some of my toys!! When it sells I will book in for MOT ad get a full 12 months. If of course it needs any work I will sort at my cost

You only run in to problems if the dampers bottom out, otherwise they cope fine. And a 40mm drop wont do that. Only thing to keep in mind is that the existing springs will have sagged with age, and so when you fit a set of 40mm lowering springs, it is likely that you wont really see the difference (will prob be 15-20mm lower)

Looks like 2wd, can't see a lever for the transfer box in the trader pics. Says 2WD (RWD) in the autotrader ad too Would make an interesting drift toy

you really want a 6kva genny, that'll handle a 135 amp mig or a reasonable compressor kicking in. I would go with diesel, especaily if you can find a friendly farmer to sell you some red to run in it.
