The reversing camera filters won't be capable of providing the current requirements for the ECU. An ECU will can pull 10+ Amps.
Does the alternator have a supressor terminal? Usually a small spade terminal marked D+. If it does just fit an alternator supressor.

For those of you tired of adverts, try using "smart tube" its an apk or an app or something, have it loaded on my firestick and my phone, cuts out adverts, makes YouTube watchable Ttfn Glenn Thanks for the suggestion, just trying it out on my tablet, what a difference without the constant ads 😎👍 Or connect through a VPN. Adverts are regional and if YouTube can't determine where you are it won't force adverts on to the channel. Lots of other advantages with a VPN too like being able to watch streamed content only available in other countries by connecting through a local server on the VPN network. I use Nord VPN. Cheaper than the TV licence and far more use.

$3500.00I so wanted to send cash to Dennis. This is magnificent from all sides, Wheels are just OOOOOFFFF. Sorry, for me the stretched tyres look absolutely stupid. Whenever I see them I wonder about their safety and their legality. The rest is very nice though.

Didn't you say that there were external amplifiers fitted in the van? Is the current head unit running through them? If it is be aware that there are no line outputs on that new unit so it won't connect to them and you will have to re-wire the speakers directly to the head unit. You will very much notice a difference in sound quality without the amplifiers. Its not about playing music loud but how much effort the electronics are having to make to play at the volume you want. A higher power amplifier playing at lower levels will generally sound better than the head unit internal amplifier playing at the same level.
An older higher quality with an aux in and an add on Bluetooth module would be a very good choice. I have used the NextBase DAB350T add on DAB/Bluetooth units with great success in the past on my Mercedes CLK and my Voyager (both standard headunits had an aux in). I bought two of them when they were on ebay at a very discounted price.

That is double DIN, that is why I replied on your buying question for a radio replacement in the first place. The shape of your radio hole, is the same as a mobile phone or tablet. A 7" tablet will be the same size and have the radio inputs etc. As the double DIN you posted up, but in the size and shape you need. Have a look at them, as for an adapter kit, that was only to fill any gaps. I don't comment much anywhere these day's, but if I can help, I will try. Matty Thank you. I thought it was smaller than the double units. Maybe I am wrong then. Will see once home. I bought one exactly the same as this for the wifes HiLux about five years ago. It was a remarkable bargain at £25 (New) including a reversing camera!! I've only ever bench tested it and quite frankly it's not bad at all considering its price. It's sound quality and radio reception will be nothing like as good as the JVC/Kenwood one you already have fitted though. A definate downgrade I'm afraid. And, yes, it most definately is a double DIN size but very shallow due to no CD mech. TBH, if you want a simple single DIN unit with Blue Tooth and be of reasonable quality and reliability and a low price you are going to be out of luck. They are all so overblown with features that are not needed that each button usually has half a dozen functions depending on what mode you are in. Double DIN touch screens are just about the only way to simplify operation as at least you only have to move between different screens. The other option is a single DIN unit with a pop out screen but a half decent one will be expensive. Cheap Chinese ones are not worth buying.

This was built by well respected UK customiser Ian Etheridge in the late 70s and appeared on the cover of Street Machine mag in 1980. It was quite a famous car on the show circuit in the 80's. I've got some pictures I took of it somewhere probably at the Alexander Palace custom show in around 1980/81.

I’d run either or both aternate days ! 😂 I have a book about the history of the Trans Am and I believe that this was a concept car built by Pontiac. I think there were two of them, the second being black. Can't confirm as I've no idea where the book is!!

I wonder if that kind of glove box lid "art work" style was outside, too, back when the van was yellow? Its quite reminiscent of the 80's geometric art that was on album covers everywhere at the time.

On a Rover V8 don't foret to pack the oil pump with Vaseline and prime it with an electric drill on the pump shaft before cranking the engine.
