Well pushbikes can barely maintain 30 mph and a minor bump on them could result in serious injury or worse, I don't see people saying they should be banned? Careful what you wish for - it very rarely is what you expect it to be. As I stated above - it was a sanctioned event with marshalls etc, so perfectly safe. A bike is not a motor vehicle however there are more safety features for the rider and bike itself than a near 100 year old car. You will likely bring up motorbikes next, calm down

I'm sorry but I am inclined to agree that vehicles of this vintage are unsuitable for public roads in 2019. Deep condolences to the affected. I can't believe someone on a car forum would think like that. That thinking soon goes on to lets ban pre 1980 cars, or lets ban bikes, or old people!! It's a sanctioned event with roads blocked/marked/signed/marshalled for the cars, so perfectly suitable for the day in question. Terrible tragedy for the couple involved. Its a sad thing to happen, no denying that however I would agree that cars of that age shouldn't be on the road. They can barely maintain 30 MPH and have zero safety features built into them, a minor bump could result in serious injury or worse. I appreciate the significance of the old stuff but there is a time and place for them and public roads with the state of today's drivers/ road conditions etc is not it.

Good price considering centre caps are 125 on their own these days. I paid similar money for a shagged set

Are you no longer going to be doing TA or similar in the Noble or something else? Its one hell of a car for the money your asking, especially in comparison to some of the TA evo's currently up for sale for twice the price
Have you sold the kit car?

Have you looked on ebay for a used towbar for the Berlingo? they go for less than a ton and would leave you with a car that you know as opposed to buying a high miler you will likely have to put money into

Watched it a few times, main bloke is a balloon knot I disagree - every front man is going to generate opinions, but he seems to have built a very nice empire doing some world-class builds. The show doesn't suffer from American Chopper style drama. Watch the series 5 finale with the Mopar Coronet build and tell me his is doing it wrong..... I didnt say anything the builds or the show, just that the bloke that runs the place is an irritant, the standard of work looks amazing
