Nismo injectors now arrived and waiting to be installed, Lambda controller being rewired to maintain sanity, plus being fitted with a better connector.
I'm hoping to go see it next Thursday... we will see what that brings!

Dyno update … never made the appointment, she’s fighting til the last. No.2 injector has started to randomly not fire, so whilst I had planned to upgrade these later with some Nismo/Jecs 555’s they haven’t landed yet.
Dyno day rescheduled. 🥺

Well after nearly 8 years this thing is going on the dyno tomorrow for it's first shake down and mapping session.
This vid is already a year old and for a 2nd start up wasn't too bad, a couple of little niggles to nip up, however when it came to start it up before xmas the gremlins got in.
2 starter motors and water pump later plus some ECU gubbins to sort out from previous garages hash up and we are close to having her home.
Things to do when she’s back will be to arrange for the front seats to be trimmed, plus a carpet repair/replace. I've well and truly missed my previous slots thanks to the pandemic and multiple painters take the proverbial p...
Jodie has done an amazing job teaching himself to paint on his truck that I entrusted him to paint the car too!

Not been on here for a while, format doesn't seem to suit my phone, but mostly been too busy with other stuff. It's changed a bit since then, looks to have gone to a good home was a fast little hooligan.

Jodie at Promech has been entrusted to finish it off as some mistakes need rectifying and half completed jobs need completing.
It’s become a total refurb to be honest, she’ll be getting de-chromed, the vinyl roof will be going too, added to which after picking up a ding in the front wing during storage she’ll be getting a full respray.
Essentially a Magnum that thinks it’s a Firenza 😁

What do you class as a weather seal kit? Magardsport or East Kent trim have most of the seals sorted. (No one does the coupe quarter window seals) You should get into the VVOC pages if not a member and then of course there is the firenza magnum viva FB pages m.facebook.com/groups/162048827165753/?ref=bookmarks

You too could be the Biggles of the highway. V4 100hp 1100cc Honda 0-60 in 4 seconds 135mph top speed (it gets lairy past 110 mind) 40mpg+ Tax - £93 a year (£51.15 for 6months) Great for day trips to Devon. Built by mr JZR himself in August 1999, John used to hill climb his Morgan J.A.P engined trike, He got fed up of rebuilding the Ash frame of the Morgan so started building metal chassis kit cars instead. Rear wheel drive using the engine, gearbox, shaft drive and rear brake of the donor bike. My dad purchased the vehicle in May 2001, it had done just 500miles (12,393 miles), 19 years later she is showing 16,229 miles. That’s nearly 4K total since it’s build, following a lay up off road. (Dad had two failed back operations and reluctantly gave up on driving this again) Registered correctly as a JZR Honda this will be tax and MOT exempt in 2022. Facebook images

This has been sat under a tarp since 2003 after my dad gave up on it in part due to loss of his garage, some brake/ fuel issues and back surgery.
It’s now running again and needs some minor tweaks to get it to where I want it to be.
Not sure if I’ll be allowed to keep it, but in the meantime here’s a teaser until I can get some proper vids and pics sorted this weekend.
