Looks great! I've often wondered why the bonnet slam panel is white on 205s. my old F plate white one had a dark grey slam panel.. I assumed it had been replaced at some point so painted it white to match the rest of the car From the factory they where a semi gloss light grey colour. When they has a front end smash (often with the 1.9gti ) we used to spray the new panel with satin black aerosol. The one could either be a painted orginal or a painted replacement.

They fitted the later cressida's with the 1G engine, I would start with measuring the engine bay to make sure the engine will fit into it.
Did you get the full loom with the 1G?

Nice I was watching it for my collection, I've had 4 of them now, currently rebuilding a jdm import with the 1jz engine in.
Keep an eye on the rear inner arches they love to rot out, you will need to remove the side trims in the boot and the speaker pods to see the area clearly.

I had a 250bhp turbo Technic's xr4x4 10yrs back was a amazing bit of kit. the type 9 will cope with the power as long as its in tiptop condition and not been replaced with a 4pot one as they aren't as strong as the V6 ones, Mine ate 3 of the 4wd T9's before a MT75 one was fitted. Get the heads sorted as well if its the 230-250hp conversion it will have add the chambers played with and the pistons were stock one's that were machine'd down by around 1-1.5mm to lower the compression, A call to TT with the code numbers should get you all the info about the kit. Will be keeping an Eye on this build

13x6 or 13x7 normally. pukka imports can use motorbike sized rear plates legally, went through all this with Dvla after a run in with the infamous police interceptors.
