its a bunch of loose wires, theres a red and a yellow wire which both go in to a fuse box and out the other side, theres also a black wire and bunch of others including some phono leads.
i got a 12v adapter out but couldnt figure out a safe way of doing it, so ill leave it till the sun comes out and have a play under the bonnet of the car and see what happens! ill try find a tape also

damn, I think thats the same one I had in my Capri in 1988! you should buy it for your current capri! that would give retro a whole new meaning! perhaps we could call it nostalgia? Have you tried powering it up? 2 wires and a battery May be interested but not unless I know it works, or at the very least powers up. havnt tried giving it power, i get scared of these sort of things usually. give me a bit more info on how to go about doing this properly without burning anything out and ill give it a shot at the moment I'm thinking jump leads and car battery or is that entirely wrong?

Alpine 7294r 25watt + 25watt, has a pull out arm as seen in the photo, has a scuff on the screen also in the photo, cd changer control, radio cassette, has the big green buttons and is assumed to be in working condition. I havnt used it myself so cant guarantee this but should imagine its ok - I was told it works. comes with the outer bit to mount to the dash and lots of cables, its not a plug and play type but the cables are all labeled so easily wired in if you can do that sort of thing. its in brighton so you can collect from there or south kent area otherwise ill post it anywhere for about £7. £35 or offers

glad you did well out of the trip, that pub, the carlisle, is one of the most dangerous pubs in the area allegedly, there was a load of blood outside the first and last time i went there. I keep seeing that lancia about but aswell but always thought it was an old pug ;D Great looking biker hangout on the seafront "ATTN all bikers: free tea & coffee for those with lids, free parking

if you crouch down and take a photo close to the ground it will look way better than when standing up right and looking down.
in short its the composition and the like which makes a good photo, the camera is fairly irrelevant in alot of ways

dungeness is worth heading down to, youll find some strange stuff there including the worlds smallest public steam railway and a couple of retro caravans, were talking proper retro not your average 70's monza caravan. theres an aluminium one and a mork and mindy egg type one. if you go out in the marsh you will find more strange stuff, 3 more alu caravans that i know of and a 50's ford pop sat abandoned plus loads more.
there are quite alot of retros about that area but they're not everywhere, you may see one or two on your journey through.
theres the speed trails on brighton seafront which i think coincides with your trip.
bentley motor museum in east sussex nearish eastbourne is also worth a look in/

tbh dude your not likely to find many folk wanting to sell a crosser for under £200, £500 would get you something abit easier. £200 is more crapped out moped money.
i have a ktm id consider selling, but one set of wheels are over £500 on their own like

the mans right, the self leveling and washers are only required on cars that have them fitted as standard when new. even so I can think of a couple of cars with standard hids that don't have this also. my car and many others have gone through MOT's without any problems.
ive been selling these since 2007 and not had a single issue with any of them or had anyone complain and the like.
so long as they're set up properly you shouldnt dazzle anyone, its only ones with the wrong beam angle, if its out just abit it will be alot more noticable due to the fact that the light is that much brighter.
I have H4 kits by the way if you want any, 6000k colour temp
