Swift sports seem to be common to swap wheels on. I had intended to put R32 Skyline GTST wheels on mine, but ran out of time/money. Mighty Car Mods have just got one in, they've said it's going to be a stripped out track car. I like MCM so it will be interesting to see what they do.

The Cleaner on BBC1. Greg Davies has a VW bus pickup He's 6'8". Are they really big enough inside for tall people or would they have altered things in there to make the space?

Keep pondering this thread, and the question what marks a "British style" and the "café racer" question. Lots of focus on roadster style, but often a British style, for cars, looked towards a rally influence than racer... There are some simple cues, bumper delete, dished rims and hints of weekend racer(bucket seat/white roundel/the sporty note from the exhaust being obvious ones). So it "could" be a sports car(TR or MG) but equally it "could" be a Cortina Mk1 or an A40.... well i was after an A40 and almost had one 1275 motor , alloys , bucket seats was going to turn it into a goodwood style racer but some one out a deposit on it , it just became available again this week but i’m into an mgb gt now .. bloody typical but i’ll do my best to give it a cafe racer look I can see now where a lot of the Nissan Pao styling came from. I know the Pao was supposed to be more Renault 4, but there's definitely some A40 in it.

The Porsche 911S in The Bridge. Sold at auction for charity in 2018, it went for £125k.

It's probably a prototype, but man, it would have worked!! Looks like a Photoshop. I can't place what that rear side window is from, but it will be something like a C1/107/Aygo or a small Suzuki (Alto?). The building through that window doesn't match what's behind, and the door handles look exactly the same front to rear. One 5 door Ka was a concept though, the Turing Ka (or Ka Turing) in 1998

A few from Breaking Bad and Better Call Saul, there are a lot more from both series that could go in here Jesse Pinkman's Chevrolet Monte Carlo and Toyota Tercel Saul's Suzuki Baleno in Better Call Saul, complete with Inbetweeners spec yellow paint and red door

Just about nudging retro status at 20 years old although that is a debate on its own. Considering one as run around but looking at A140 Classic in particular. Cannot find too much information only general stuff but have they got a following for modified etc as interested to making it less bland. Someone posted a few pics in the last two weeks, may have been a slightly unrelated thread. I am sure someone will be along soon to add to this thread. I always wanted to see them modified. That might have been me in the £800 thread, similar replies there to what's been said here that they're a pig to work on and not that well built. I only posted it because I like the shape of them and as an ex Smart owner there's a connection to these with the double floor safety stuff. forum.retro-rides.org/post/2772217/thread

An A Class is something I could really fancy having a play about with. Love the shape. Tom That’s the kind of thing I was thinking of.

I like these, but I sort of don't fit. I had a look at one once while car shopping. All seemed fine, I got in it, headroom and legroom was fine and all was good, then looking forwards, I had a perfect view of the sun visor, not through the windscreen. Thanks for nothing, curved roof!

Out and about today, the site was fine on O2 WiFi in Sainsbury's. So yeah it must be an Odeon thing.

That Micra kit, but with the white and black Initial D paint please. I had a look on Google thinking it had probably been done but it's mostly been done with K11s. I could only see this for K10s.

At the local Odeon yesterday waiting to see a film, got the phone out and went around a few websites, all fine. Went to RR and it's blocked for 'adult content'. It was on Android Chrome, I checked Edge browser and the same thing happened. The only way I'd have got through would be turning all the security off on my phone. I don't know whether this is general public WiFi or specific to Odeon WiFi, next time 8m out somewhere else with WiFi available I'll try it again.

The close to finished Retropower Morris Minor. MX5 drive and gearbox but the engine is swapped to a Ford Zetec I'm too big for an MX5, I've sat in all shapes of them and I can get in, but it's so tight I'm just wedged in there, no chance of moving the wheel or pedals to drive it. So my ideal MX5 would be something with more room inside (I'm 6'6")
