I took a few on the campsite as I really liked the car
Must of been an issue with my lens or something though, in every shot it appeared to be sideways inbetween tents and cars so I had to delete them...

110% correc
Proper brown slacks moment, luckily the alloy hinges snapped letting the bonnet escape up over the roof
Beat it back in to shape and side hinge I reckon?

I have some on my film camera, but you'll have to wait for them. I spent a lot of time looking at her, because I have one and I was trying to figure out how to steal your wheels without you noticing...

If the Turbo arrives I'm not coming work for the rest of the week...
And by that I mean, if the turbo arrives, can I have the rest of the week off sir?

I couldnt find any debris or the vanes, maybe they're in my intercooler.
I'm guessing as it was the intercooler pipework I was working on that something dropped in, maybe a blob of weld or summat?
Would the damage seem feasable with that?

You have to fix this, it's the only reason I'm going to the gathering. See now i feel bad, and there was me thinking it was to rag the wagon up the hill Fingers crossed it arrive sharpish, as a bonus its real easy to fit, wont take more than an hour to remove and refit. Then i can actually start driving her around

Hi Paul,
Its a fair point, its only really where it is as there's no room up front, to move it against the bulkhead will cost me ££££ in silicone and pipework, money I don't have (i'll have you know this cars cost me about £700 so far!!! (i'm tight) )
I figure - and I really know very little about turbos - the stock intercooler was pathetic, the new one is prob 4 times the core size, I can only hope that heat soak wont really present itself unless i'm stuck in traffic, in which case, i'm stuck in traffic so wont be speeding off anyways.
I might add some bonnet louvres at some point as long as they're subtle?

I folded the bottom, front and back out of one piece, then added the sides, then made the 3inch ring and pieced the join between em, all migged, I do have a cracking mig though, my uncles a welder and he sorted me a murex... Lots off fiddly little bits of steel and lots of grinding, I've not ground it flush flush, just smoothish I'll wander over

Lights are all sorted now, insurance done - thankyou Brentacre - exhaust is still noisy as I'm awaiting some bits, in the meantime I thought I'd sort the intercooler Its top mounted now, I really don't want to cut the bonnet fot a vent, so I figure a cold air feed is in order. Using my school days that warm air rises I built it underneath No during pics an don't expect a stunning peice of work, I'm no fabricator, but its turned out as I thought it would, I just hope the 3 inch inlet fed from the front valance will provide enough cold air??? Anyones thoughts? Its gotta be better than just leaving the intercooler with nothing?

She does indeed
As you can see i did the correct thing when you've made something yourself including a prop; of flooring her on her first run, i figure its for the best!
