This is a very neat little project, and a rarity too. Didn't realise they were making the vans with the Mk1 face as late as '88, I thought they'd facelifted them by then. Now I wonder if they ever facelifted the van version. It's not a mk1, it's a mk2.

Not sure what to make of it, one thing that is different to a stock metro is the headlights appear to be upright and flush, unlike a normal metro where they were upright and set back?? Standard metro lights. Set back on absolute base models and flush on higher spec, same on mk1 and mk2

I think it has to be deliberate manipulation or else it's real. If the photo were accidentally stretched somehow why is the Sunbeam next to it unaffected? And it wouldn't explain the body coloured filler panel under the headlight. It also appears to have lost the upper swage that would run just under the side repeater. Shame the number plate isn't legible. You can see a ghost of the grill and badge below. Its just been smudged somehow between the grill and the bumper Looks like it's made up of 3 original grilles and the bottom one has the standard austin badge while the top one between the lights has some other badge, maybe of the manufacturer? The standard metro does not have any body showing between the light and bumper like on rmads photoshop
