Very nice.
I used to own a very similar car, B217 EBL which was a light metallic blue CX 25 GTI Turbo, I've had a lot of cars but that is the only one I miss.
I knew that Citroens were badged DTR in the UK and TRD elsewhere but I didn't realise there were actually any here badged as TRD. The decision to rename them must have been made before your car was registered as even the new keepers supplement says DTR!

Surprisingly, I have a cousin who has similar issues in the US, although that is a 405 Mi16... It's hard enough to find Mi16 parts here (UK/Europe) now. Funnily enough a few years ago I was buying quite a lot of new Mi16 engine parts from ebay US as nobody there seemed to be interested and sellers would take ludicrous offers more often than not. If your cousin isn't signed up to forum.205gtidrivers.com already you should suggest it. Back on topic... What size brakes does your Range Rover have? have you checked that 16" rims fit over them? 19" to 16" is a big jump!

You don't need to take the subframe off, it's one less thing to get in the way but the extra work outweighs that especially if you're paying hourly labour rates.

I had some coilovers with no brackets for brake lines once, I used stainless steel rubber lined P clips held to the damper with a jubilee ring.

Very nice I see it still has the air flow meter, does it still have the original ECU too? Is there a build thread anywhere?

Edit: I just looked it up, and apparently the standard Lexus V8 1UZFE has the same power as a 2003 Boxster S 3.2 litre at 191kW. True but the non 'S' Boxsters have less power and the earlier cars have a lot less. Some of them are not very fast at all.

they're not 60s or 70s though are they, nor do they have a chrome surround. Actually some of them are replacements for seventies commercials, read the descriptions. You said "preferably" with a chrome surround. I don't think you understand how forums work.

It's probably the variable inlet manifold on an S16 engine, not too hard to get working or can just be replaced with a 306 GTI6 inlet.
I'd be more worried about the "rumble which sounds like it could be alternator." It's easy enough to take off the alternator belt and run it up to see if the noise goes away.

This looks and sounds like the one Keith Adams had recently?
Like I said on ARO I have some parts left over from an XM turbo auto including the gearbox which worked perfectly.

Excess negative camber on the rear of Citroens is normally caused by massive wear of the trailing arm bearings but I wouldn't have thought the RR uses trailing arms. The sphere alone wont affect camber, in fact I can't see any of the Citroen stuff changing the geometry (apart from ride height).

tbh the petrol is far inferior to ours anyway even the premium stuff is barely up to our normal unleaded, couldn’t find any high octane stuff anywhere.. They measure octane slightly differently in the US so despite the numbers on the pumps being slightly lower their fuel is actually not far off European octane levels. There is a table that shows the differences here - en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Octane_rating

The brake hydraulics sound very similar to the Citroen system, the last sentence suggesting the same system powers the steering seems to confirm it. Also the accumulator sphere in the diagram looks exactly like a Citroen one.
Very interesting, thanks for the translation.

Anyone know what the wheels are on the first CF (The one that started the thread). I've got them on my E34 but I have no idea what they are... My E39 540i had them fitted at the factory, the build/options sheet lists them as 363 LT/ALY WHEELS/RADIAL SPOKE 32
