So sorry to hear that - through threads like this one feels that you have got to know the people involved and feel the loss as if of a friend. RIP Gordon, sorry you didn't get to see the Victor finished! Good luck Clive! Please keep us updated on the progress Tony, thank you!
Regards Mark

grizz - I have got my eye out for some UAE plates for you - trouble is you can't just get them made and if you lose one it is a mission to replace, I always look on the highway between Abu Dhabi and Dubai - I WILL find some one day!

2011 that's depressing the car is still on jackstands in the carport. We have been having real problems with the front shocks. The ones that we thought were good were not and it took a year alone just to source some konis. Now we are having problems installing them. It'll get there eventually, I've also been distracted by a Suzuki Cappuccino which isn't helping... Rotapug There are loads of 404s in Zimbabwe and also in Egypt. If you get me the part numbers required I will see if I can source them in Zim or South Africa. Cheers Mark

Kyk meneer, the last post was in 2011!
Any pictures of your 404? - I have always wondered why they are so scarce on here.

Hi mate nice car, as with your fan to make it a blower undo the centre nut and flip the fan blades over, those universal fans come set up as suckers, then wire it black wire live blue wire neutral, test it while off the car just to make sure it's blowing, this is what I had to do with the straight blade version Perv, I reckon it is probably DC

Remember these cars from when I was a kid - I remember a maroon one that was really shiny, some old duck drove it, suppose it was only 4 or five years old then.
That car needs some hubcaps the raw wheels look too rough.
What the hell is anti climb paint??

Maybe try bolting the mounts to the body and put the cage on after - the slots would make sense then.

This might be a stupid question, is the Scimitar made by the same company as the Reliant Robin of Del Boy fame? Surely not!

Lose the angel eye lights and get some proper ones in there. Keep the grille (without the middle stripes) and go back to the chin spoiler.
