Pair of mirrors which I believe are off a mk2 Cavalier - please correct me if they're not! Caps look good cosmetic condition, one cap isn't fitted, one baseplate isn't fitted and looks to have snapped something. £15 if I need to post or money for a few beers if collected from Nottingham/Derby

So I’ve read a few threads on Nodiz but not seen anything very recent in 2018.
Anyone on here using Nodiz ignition ECU? How are you finding it?
I’m interested in upgrading an XE on R1 carbs from dizzy to mapped ignition.
Are the big places comfortable in mapping it nowa days?
Thanks for any input

Measure how much plunge is left. I used to munch shafts regularly on track, turns out they were slightly too short so did not operate in the correct range on the inner CV.

I'd hold out for a second hand heavier duty one with air powered bead breaker. Can be got for around 50 quid.
The whole idea is a lot nicer than the reality in my experience - I can't do low profiles, the slicks I wanted to do or any nice wheels that may be damaged. That said it's paid for itself many times over with daily tyre swaps and removals.

I've popped this in the calendar, hopefully get over to it. Have had a fairly awful evening meal there though so may stick with a coffee!

Another vote for AEM here. have had an analog wideband gauge in the Granny for about 5years now. only had issues with the sensors dieing due to overfuelling issues I didn't get sorted in time (hopefully a pic link of what I have below) goo.gl/images/N4ENrWHow were you to know it was overfueling? Oh wait. How bad does it need to be to kill the sensor?

I've had my first wideband experience in the past week or two. Wanted to check my bike carbs as they were set up a while ago and are on a different engine now.
Went for an AEM UEGO X-Series (new model that is quicker processing than the original) for about £170. Very clear display, very easy to set up, no free air calibration required and very nice bit of kit - very happy with it so far.

The address part is still fine, but when they ask for your number because they're travelling an hour and don't want to end up lost and with no means of contact, you can't share it. I am tempted to sign up to Facebook just for advertising things.

Thanks for the advice, I've re-soldered all the wiring yesterday and tested the microswitch with a multimeter. Lock triggers fine bridging the microswitch plug.

Hi all
I'm after some E34 touring bits if anyone knows of one being broken for spares
Specifically:
Tailgate - only the glass panel, struts and handle microswitch but would consider a full tailgate to strip Door weather strips (at the bottom, early SE spec rubber ones) Some of the door bump strips and clips
Thanks

I enjoy the odd evening in my estate with an air bed. Probably more of a novelty - it can get cold though.

Is that the old Paintology premesis? Wonder if they've moved, always heard good reviews of their work.

Not bought one but based on quality of there jacks I'd go for an sgs engineering one. They have deals on quite often so 150ish will get you a solid crane. At the risk of looking like I'm slating every company under the sun... I was not impressed at the quality of their engine stand at all.

Avoid Machine Mart one, mine has been back (both whole and just in pieces) several times and I'm on the third hydraulic ram replacement.
And I've only used it about 8 times.

They used to be a popular choice for Novas years ago.
The general consensus was cheap and cheerful, get it lower as cheap as possible.

trailer tyres are probably the worst ones to start on, they are much tougher than car tyres. This gives me some hope then! I'll try a car steelie later to see the difference. The difference may be weaker wheels, it is now unusuable thanks to a massively bent rim! Haha.
