Cheers! coruasEngine is from Lancia Dedra MPI which should have 89HP stock with that configuration. Something less with carburetor configuration. So, it's about +40% stronger now than stock and about +130% than stock Yugo was.

So, weekend is behind and testing was done on track. It was quite busy few days... Firstly, tyres arrived at the last moment, only for me to find out that sealing split rims with so little bolts is not an easy task. That resulted with driving on old Dunlops SP Sport, which wasn't too fun because obvius lack of grip on track... Beside that, my dash has decided to give me false oil pressure & temperature readings, same for rpm's (I guess MSD is interfering with Veglia), so I need to install digital meter to double check the readings. Biggest issue happend at the end of the day and that is breakdown of 3rd gear on newly assembled Colotti gearbox... haven't had a chance to open the gearbox yet to se what's the damage, but it ain't gonna be cheap to fix... and it's going to need some magic from our Herc Gearbox service to make me new gear or whatever has broken down... Also, need to modify the exhaust and position it higher. I'm generally satisfied how engine is running, car handling and gear ratios. Some media...

So, the last year finishes with this... ...and continued with some details. Made new passenger foot rest, turned out quite nice I recon! Next up - oil cooler. I wanted to put it into bumper, even completed all the work on bumper rail etc. but! ...realized that I haven't pay enough attention to cooler orientation. So, decided to get it in optimal position - vertical placement, inlet at the bottom and outlet at the top, so no air is captured and no oil trapped during oil changes. Switched to Motul 8100 X-power 10w60 oil from Motul 6100 15w50. I have bought a pair of MSD igntion coils and installed those on both cars. Also, I'll give a chance to NGK Racing B9EGV spark plugs. Finally bought a set of rim screws and will finally paint & assemble those beautiful three-piece Route Nori's Modello D16. Test fit... ...and at last, bumper is back on the car. May I add - very dusty car! Hope pics aren't too big! What needs to be done is couple of small assembles, wheel alignment once I buy Yokohama's and put them on Nori's. Beside that, car is more or less - complete.

I must notice that would like to see it with bonnet from automatic version. I think it would go well with Dimma appearance.

Was changing cooling radiator, so needed to get it up to temp, so I've made a quick circle around the block. Thought it might sound interesting.

This one is Grigio Artico from Alfa Romeo (keep it in family). Needs to be tightened up a little bit on spring, to remove all imperfections. Luckily, I have two friends that are right for that job.

It's getting close to road now... needs custom oil cooler hoses in order to mount front bumper along with it and some bits & pieces. Also, Ronals are refreshed and tyres are rotated, so it will sit on 'em until spring and completing Route Noris.

...or maybe I can heat the thermostat with heat gun and give it a spin. I've completed the dash and small article about my car was announced in our biggest automotive magazine. Btw, I've mounted/installed all windows. Poly carbonate (Lexan) all around, except windshield. Managed to keep the front ones functional, but did put a ACW pop-up vent on 'em, because I don't want to open them too often, that is leaving small scratches I don't like... Good news is that I did figure out a good heat-up @350 degrees eliminate those. Also, I did 'fix' small factory error with door locking mechanism which includes red/green marks for unlocked/locked doors. Red was unlocked, green locked, but that's not ok with my logic... As for the tires, I'm closer to decision to buy those on spring, because there is no fresh ones on stock and for 400 euros I do not want anything less then fresh & new tires...

Thank you, appreciate it! I've made my own dimple dies from scratch using a couple of web-found sketches. I never go over 2mm steel, simply because there was no need. So they are surely good up to that thickness... Will post updates as soon as there is something worth to show, after final touches.

Cheers. Well, I guess it's better that than get them smaller so they fit the page etc. Also, I have to admit that it's much easier to put thumbnails and just copy/paste post to forums that I have thread on.

So... the car has been finished mechanically, paint prep was done, paintjob done also...Assembly in progress, would like to manage to steal a couple of weekend drives by the end of the year. Hurdles on my way to it - need 4x 175/50 R13 (Yokohamas probably), lexan windows (all except windshield), assembly of Ruote Nori rims (need ~100 pieces of M6x40mm bolts + some paint on 'em), dashboard needs to be refreshed and finished, lost of misc stuff along the way to be painted/cleaned/oiled. Engine bay @ 90% completion. Bumper brackets lightened, sanded and painted. Testing of Ruote Nori. ...sandblasting later. Then polishing of outer rims. Small detail. Lightened seat brackets. Front suspension done. Flormats. Preping the door, which basically shows general steps in preping whole car - bare metal, some putty, liquid high build filler, wash primer, finish filler. New bonnet. Finishing the dash gauges with some matte vinyl and new signal lamps + some rewiring. Car is finally at painter. ...and rear lights which shows mentioned final touching of all parts that are going back to car. To be continued...

I had some distractions in shape of making a daily Yugo, from stock of course. So I've quickly made 1300 SOHC with 92hp@6500rpm's, suspension mods and on winter tires. This one is going to steal me some time here and there... ...and pics says 1000 words for gray Yugo progress. Uno Turbo 240mm brakes, renewed + polyurethane color, Brembo rotors + Ferodo DS Performance pads. Adjusting exhaust manifold for bolt-on system for rest of the exhaust. And some misc pics. Gearbox oil, SKF clutch bearing, Dellorto's have been also renewed and waiting for some part to tweak them for more HP. Done some small stuff, put on a fuel tank, give handbrake a function, new adapter for Pipercross air filter + a must have heatshield. New starter motor, light + strong, new Sabelt seat belts and bigger radiator from Yugo Florida (Sana), +5cm in length. One cool thing - "Carbs only feast" theme on Speedhunters blog have a couple of my pics and small story to follow. Hope this is only a good intro for whole theme about my car later this year. More on: www.speedhunters.com/2015/01/iamthespeedhunter-a-carbs-only-feast/ In next period full focus is on grey Yugo and finish is planned in late May/early June.

No, but race spec Yugo gr. N have something about 780kg. So I guess mine was about 800kg. I would be happy with anything around ~750kg.
