Hey guys, I've been doing some artwork in my spare time recently and now started to sell my prints on Etsy. Kind of running through the classics/icons first and they have a very simple style. Be good to know what you think? Without sounding like too much of an advert (it's not, it's my passion on the side) - you can follow any updates on facebook and instagram. Just search for the Auto Design Prints name You can find them here: www.etsy.com/uk/shop/AutoDesignPrints

There's a facebook page called 'Citroen AX Gt GTi UK Advice, parts and wanted'. You'll definitely be able to find one there. You'd think so, wouldn't you? No luck so far though. I have a modified AX GTI (with lacquer peel!) but one assumes you're after an immaculate, factory car? How modified, and how presentable...? About this modified. Interior is in good nick... Do have the original wheels albeit with slightly perished/cracked tyres.

Recognised the Ax immediately, hope it wasn't a GT or GTi Nope, don't worry. Just a bog standard thing. I have the GTI More value for the classic car community by destroying the log book and scrapping the rest, before someone buys it as a ringing kit and uses it to re register someone else's pride and joy they just nicked... I would not say there is . And to be honest , your just going to be selling the logbook as not many people will be interested in a complety burnt out GT6 . Its illegal and encourages theft of classic / retro cars . I have seen burnt out fords on ebay for a fair bit but i presume thats for the paperwork as well . You should surrender the logbook to the dvla and scrap the car It morally should be the end of the road for that, let it rest in peace. I just think as said that's a clone waiting to happen Anyone buying or interested would be merely buying it for the id and v5 only Better option is to salvage small piece and frame it with the v5 and anything else related and hang it on your garage wall as momento Do the right thing chap Unless you are willing to throw a ton of time and money to make something like this best off scrapping It Because, of course, there is no coming back for a burnt out car if you listed to these guys..... I, however, beg to differ...and before anyone jumps on the whole, "but Porsches are worth a lot of money" bandwagon, just remember that this was a scrap shell bought for $300CAD (£150) because literally no one else wanted it. Of course, if you listened to the guys above and other like it, this would never exist. Thankfully, not everyone listens to the 'experts' and I'll be forever grateful to Scott for that. Yes very true. I'd love to do something like this but don't think I have the necessary skills. One also assumes that if it's all consumed, then I'd spend a lot of time buying all the fiddly bits like seals and chromes. Well I guess everything throughout the car...? Eek.

Yeah kind of thought the only use it might be would be to use the ID on another car. The other cars to get burnt were 2 Range Rover Classics, a Saab 9000 V6 and a Citroen AX. Some other guy had a Suzuki Jimny from what I can see...

Hi guys, bizarre question here, is there any worth in selling a burnt out classic complete with log book? Like, is there any value to a classic that still has a valid VIN and log book together?
Unfortunately a few years ago my father had a triumph gt6 that was involved in a garage fire (along with a few other cars) which has just been left sitting. As far as I know the car was completely burnt and nothing that I know of can be salvaged, unless rebodied like Mike Burroughs 'Rusty' was! But I was curious to know whether there could be any value or use in having the selling the car complete with the log book?
I'm not really sure if there is a use so thought I'd put it out there!
Cheers
Brads

Hi all,
Moved up here from Bristol to work for JLR and will be up here permanently as of June. I have a Citroen AX GTI as a weekend toy and as we're currently looking to rent then doubt I'll have space to store it.
I don't do a huge amount of work on the car, just drive it weekends etc but am on the lookout for a garage space or yard that is relatively secure where I could store it.
Does anyone on here know of anything suitable? Obviously willing to pay etc but would prefer to keep costs low as I don't need electricity and ramp etc...
Cheers!
Bradley

Any info on subframes (if you'd sell seperate)? Are they fixed or adjustable? Finding adjustable subframes and bucket seats in an AX are quite high (or not lower than factory!)...

Nice video, was there too, driving the black A4 Avant. Already saw this video from E38 but looks really good, managed to get shots with not too many people in which must've been tricky...

Like these ideas. Already have upmarket brand new Audi wheels on the way but I'm thinking colour of them is an obvious factor easily changeable. Lol dare to be different certainly sounds the best way forward, just need to think of the ideas. Brain storm? Or is it mind map now??

Evening all, just bought a new car and trying to decide what direction in which to take it. Obviously show season is a long way off but what trends can people spot emerging already? Naturally it's good to be individual but I'd rather not turn up with something like tractor wheels and high vis paint etc...
Thoughts/ideas/suggestions appreciated.

Do you mean vented discs or airflow to the brakes? It has neither but venting to the brakes would be easy to do using the cases from the foglights. Like you said, 4 stud is simple if you buy saxo vts/106 gti suspension and theres a step by step by guide on the owners club website. It wouldn't cost much at all.
