you could chop the front end off and just fit a big metal bumper with round lights in spot light pods, four of em for the main lights and a couple of spots in the middle, thats would get rid of the line you don't like at the front and make it look gnarly.
Volvo back as my main squeeze, more boost and some interior goodies on the way.
We probably need to coin a collective phrase for the look so that when the VW scene takes it on we can claim copyright on it and add the appropriate scene tax to it ;D lol (he says with the largest slice of sarcastic irony you can get )
Baja look Rally Raid look Dakar style lifted style Post apocalyptic rally look modern British road survival look etc etc
The scoobies are going to be an easy one, Outbacks & Foresters use standard Imprezza bits but with a body lift on the subframes, just a spacer thing. You could easily fit these spacers to an Impreza or fit mulitiples of them.
I've got some mega gravel rally knobblies in my shed

hi Camper, haven't seen you about the place I'm sorry, do you know about 4x4 transits? I do CAD work myself, but haven't the time to make a virtual one and when i do have time I'll be straight into the shed.
cptsideways, yeah looking into rally knobblies again, the smallest 4x4 tyre I can find in about 700mm tall and weights 14kg per tyre, and at 700mm high it might interfere with the A pillar, however gravel tyres might not last very long at all on the road but come in better sizes...
Those of you that are looking to try and do this, try some Autograss suppliers, fairly sure they're road legal and are perfect for this kinda thing. Available in small car-ish sizes and some more average sizes.
