Ok guy's here's a few pictures after we got the car back home, the engine was stripped down, interior gutted and the suspension pulled apart ready for new trunnions, lowering and a brake overhaul. To be honest this was a bit of a low point, with a budget of virtually £0,00 and winter quickly approaching finishing the car seemed like is was going to be an impossible task! Fast forward a couple of month's and thing's were starting to take shape, we pushed the car out for a photo opportunity as it was pretty dry and bright outside This is one of my favorite pictures, the car was starting to look like we could actually finish it. Trial fitting the drivers side wing and grill. That's it for now, just waiting on more emails to arrive.

Did that F-type wagon survive? They were seriously rare even then.

We took the moggy to our friend Chris Hepworth's garage, this guy had cut up and chopped plenty of motors by 1986. Is that Chris Hepworth who's up in Hull now ? If so sold him a Sierra DOHC last year

Did that F-type wagon survive? They were seriously rare even then. I really hope so! I was told that it was one of only six still roadworthy ones back then with no rot at all and never welded, I was gutted when I had to sell it, but I needed something more reliable with a heater and that didn't let water in every time it rained Sold it to a guy from Scotland and never saw it again Back in the day The Wanderers custom car show at Burton Constable Hall about 1986 I think With my mate Chris Hepworth (from Hull) in his Wyvern ;D

This is the only picture I have at the moment of my Rover V8 powered "F Type" The rest must be in a box in the loft or somewhere! Circa 87 I think!

That Victor was lovely! Jason's Moggy looked pretty neat in black Wonder what happened to them both? Looks like there was lots of fresh metal in that Moggy, hopefully it should still be around somewhere. I remember hearing from one of the lads when he was selling it as they knew I loved it. I really wanted to buy it but just couldn't raise the cash. Wasn't it something like £750 he wanted back then. I recall it was cheap and I was gutted at the time.

I sometimes wish UK hot rodding went back to its roots and people built daft cars for fun. Seems a bit serious now everything has to be period perfect etc

The Victor went to BH Autokraft in Doncastor for the "Pro street" treatment small block Chevy, narrowed nine inch rear, weld wheels etc unfortunately during the time it was there I went through a divorce and the Victor became another casualty I sold all the parts not sure what happened to the shell Jason sold the Moggy to one of his mates who had a 2 litre Fiat twin cam fitted, it was pretty solid but shall we say visibility was quite restrictive With that Fiat motor in I reckon it would have been even more of a death-trap! Probably ended up in the bottom of a ditch somewhere;D
