that first one looks mean as anything, is it still in its gel coat/unpainted fibreglass or has it been satin'd?

If you think that's cool, there's a genuine one-owner 427 Cobra over in the US which looks pretty similar and runs autocrosses and whatever else the owner feels like. The car has a built-up race motor with plenty more horsepower than the original. The owner bought it brand new and has been using it in amateur motorsport ever since. I'll try and find some pics of it. Edit: Here's a pic of the one I was thinking of. I had remembered the paint being ratty, but obviously I was wrong. The main thing though is that it's a REAL Cobra which still gets driven hard on a regular basis, not only on the track but also on the street as well. A very cool way to enjoy your million-dollar plus car! ;D Mind you, the owner bought it brand-new over 44 years ago, so he's probably still making a significant profit on his investment!

It's a Dax Tojero which is primarily Jag based DVLA have it as 1989 registered, usually at that time you got an age related (if you pass on points) or a Q but I suspect the '65 plate is a transferred one rather than actually age related cos the usual donor was a mid 70's XJ6.

To get a standard A40 this low, you'd have to dig a hole to put it in

I'm loving this thread! The "Worn" Cobra is ultra cool, and that blue E-Type is bloody gorgeous.
