Thanks for that Chris, the tyres should indeed be 65's... That means I need 4 to make it correct, ah well! As for the colour, it should have been standard silver originally but someone has painted it in champagne, I'll be putting it back to standard (paint ordered from the paint code on the VIN plate). Is it retro? Maybe, maybe not... It is 18 years old but it does still look fairly modern... Maybe I should matt black it and put a roofrack full of tat on the top of it eh? Anyone know how to make an ally bonnet look rusty.... ;D

Certainly a future classic. only made for 6 years from 1991, different and unusual
In the early 90's I was driving stuff from the 70's, just 'old' cars back then I suppose...and still are to some people....

Cool little car too - my bro talks about these now and again but never goes all the way. something to do with being 6 foot 4! haha
Love the little racers like a mini s2000 - small and light is the way forward though hope you enjoy it!

It's definitely lighter now, the bodyshop removed enough filler from the back end to choke a donkey. ;D Al.

The 90s does sound fairly modern still, but maybe it's time to think twice....it is almost 20 years old.
Also, an odd car like this always feels "retro" after quite a few years, not like more common family cars like Mk1 Mondeos or Mk3 Astras (just to take a few examples, not to upset the owners of them)...
But that's my opinion, other people may have different opinions...

Well Cappuccinos rot at a rate of knots, so there should be plenty of spare engines out there! Got mine back from the bodyshop this week, unfortunately the immobiliser packed in on my Audi A3 (£600 for a new instrument panel) and then the transfer box exploded on my Freelander, which is looking at around £900... So work on the Cappuccino may just have to take a back seat for a while F*ckin modern cars!

To quote Scotty on star trek 3......."The more they overthink the plumbing, the easier it is to stop up the drain"
Theres too much nanny state equipment on cars these days....it all reigns in the pleasure of driving

Consider yourself Bookmarked after linking from the other Cappucino thread, I hadn't realised there was another Cappucino on here.
