These are some of mine: Nardi Blackline, similar to VeeDubMan's E24 wood rim only in leather, these are fairly rare and were listed as an optional extra on the BMW parts listings, I'd like a decent replacement for mine as this is an old photo and its since worn so I've fitted this M-tech wheel: My Mini had this in it when I bought it: Untill I fitted an 11" Mountney: Now I have this diddy 280mm Momo in it, I don't normally like Momos but I fancied something that didn't look like it was either too old or too modern which is about all you get for Minis

I have the original one in my Merc, however, I can honestly say that I would like to do one like THIS: But I guess that's a lot more than I have knowledge to do.

Good stuff Gotwood. Well done on the feature Minor Banjo in the Oxford. Austin 1300 GT (I think!) in the Herald, adapted to an old Spitfire boss and with homemade horn push mount. Unknown make old aftermarket woodrim (that came out of a Herald donor) in the Hillman, again with homemade centre.

Mine is cheap and plastic, but its small and comfortable to hold so I'm not bothered ;D. It came attached to a Sierra shell that I brought for parts. I stuck it in my now dead Sierra and now it resides in my Volvo.

Sierra - here we go again! He has an illness, it's not his fault.

Mine until I can find something more interesting like an earlier amazon one That has actually come up very interesting and cool in white. does it stopp teh dreaded wheel-rot (or is that an Aus only specialty, where the 'zon steering wheel 'melts' on cold damp mornings) No, it happens in the North West of the UK as well, it goes sticky and comes off on your fingers, as well as being lumpy and awful to the touch. Only on the top of the rim mind. Apparently it's delamination. I agree that white one does look great.

Ford Focus RS Mk1 - hello low MPGs and "wanna race me" at every set of lights... 1973 BMW 2002 - Twin 40's, 284 Cam, Revolutions, E21 Recaros + more Porsche Cayman 987 3.4S - here and due to cost me more money than I have

I've finally located a steering wheel wrap/cover (70's black perforated vinyl ;D ) which will fit the 'zon wheel (at a stretch!), so will be stitching that on shortly to see if it will make a difference. hopefully that stuff doesnt seep through!

'Wood' painted mk1 Civic wheel in my '79 Accord. Also have a Honda N600 Deluxe plastic 'wood' wheel that desperately needs painting to look more wooden!

Sorry to say it but I prefer the stock wheel in both cases! Don't be sorry....if they were about 2" less diameter had a thicker rim and the celica one's rim wasn't really nasty wood effect then i'd like them too,but as they are,i find them horrible to hold and cumbersome to use.
