Oh yes! Finaly ive got one and shes a bute! Now what are we going to do for wheels then ?? I reckon RWD offset 13x6 with 165/40/13s?? Ive tryed 5.5s - Not wide enough Ive tryed 6" pepperpots - Too inset for my liking Think 7x13s in RWD offset is pushing it too far 7x13s in fwd offset don't appear to exist! So ofcourse i fire'd up photoshop and came up with this If only i had those wheels!

Lovely!
Always wanted one, but thet are always so rotten, that looks mint tho.
I'd go with 7x13 and 175.50.13's. Never heard of 165.40.13's?

it doesn't matter if it's a Morris Marina or a Toyota Celica - it's what you do with it that counts

Brought her off the bay for £485. Apparently its a south african import which probably explains why shes relitivly rust free! (never welded too) Been resprayed in the past. The paints got a good finish but theres quite a bit of cracking/chipping and several places where you can see the rust just poking through the surface. Nothing you'd notice in general use tho. Interiors been replaced by the last owner but i have not idea why! Its dirty and grey as opposed to the original cool brown. I'm considering swapping it back tbh but not yet Since i took that pic ive chopped an inch out of the front springs which has improved it somewhat but even with an inch drop its tight around the arches due to jelly suspension so i think il invest in some proper 50mm drop springs and better dampers. I have a horrible feeling this is going to cost some money! :/ Going to waxyol her tomorrow. Keep your eye out for some decent wheels

Looks bloody mint, what about 13x6s in a RWD offset? You ought to be able to get Weller steels in those sizes among others!

Humm.... Trouble with me is I'm too picky!
don't relly want pepperpots or supersports cous they are just standard wheels that you see on festas all the time. ATS classics are too predictable (not to mention tricky to get hold of! )Minilights + Revos are avalible but agian too boring.
I relly want something a bit more obscure or rare. Split rims would be ideal relly as i love the black centers/polished rim look Thought about steels but they don't relly fit the theme.
Come to think of it i have those 13x15 splits me + Stuyizz brought. If i could find some narrower inner rims they could fit the bill!
/me heads back to ebay

I've got a set of 7x13 wellers in satin black, ET 3, 4x100 or 4x108 fitment, brand new in boxes!
They are the 12 hole style not the nasty 8 spoke!

To be honest I like the 8 spoke Wellers which is why I put them on my Imp! Those are genuine old ones too, 7x13s that were on a knackered old racing Imp I used to own. They're a bit rough to look at there but so's the rest of the car, it's just the paint on them really, that photo was taken ages ago anyway, when the car's done the paint on it and the wheels will be a bit nicer.

Got bored waiting for Marc's Fiesta then! ;D
Good work, like the yellow paint, & chrome bumpers are definitely the coolest.
Sounds like you'll be making some more wheels!
