Forum RulesThere's plenty of other forums around to discuss what you don't like about people cars. Retro Rides is about being open minded and sharing views and opinions in a positive way.

Expecting the mods to dig through every single post on the forum and see to problems by locking or moving posts is a very bad approach. Not to mention taking their unpaid efforts for granted.
The right approach is to abide by the forum rules and make people aware of the etiquette here.
The debate about voicing negativity has been done to death here many many times, HotWire has made a clear ruling on it.

I'm aware we all need to do our part.. i spent a good 6 months with a PLEASE READ THE RULES link in my signiture as the flouting the rules annoys me too... but someone describing WHY they don't like an imprezza doesnt strike me as an evil stand against rules or somthing... at least it wasnt a one line 'I HATE IMPREZZAS'

Sorry but this was Gemiks original post Sorry guys not keen - Chav mobile with a sunroof? There's just no need, I'm not surprised someone picked up on it and called her narrow minded.

Mod mode: You're allowed opinions, but they should be constructive and delivered inoffensively...gemik's original post was certainly outside of those boundaries. However, apologies have been issued and what we're left with is with a thread with some great cars in it. Moving on:

Did someone mention Legacy's? This is mine I just need the money to slam it, fit some Volk alloys, tint the rear windows and fit a front & rear lip to it. Since those pictures Ive fitted a Legacy GT rear spoiler to it. Theres plenty of bits available for it. . . . . If you live in Japan or the USA!

have to say I'm a big fan of the smooth impreza look I don't know why, maybe its because the norm for modified subarus is the crazy performance style

I do like Imprezas and Legacys (I've owned two) too, especially smoothed-off. How can a spoiler possibly be functional on the road anyway?! Also, how can this car's suspension move? Surely that tyre is mm away from being introduced to the arch? That's just silly and unusable isn't it?

this is my daily and i'm actully like'n it, makes a change to drive a decent motor other than a classic or something that's f--ked 2.0 sport non turbo actully go's quite well only mod is k&n air filter and a bigger rear box. only downfall is the squelling from front tyres going round roundabouts other than this it handles well. never thought i'd own one though

I love phase 1 classics and owned a silver one for 1 and a half years (awesome car). It never, ever went wrong and the burble made me smile every time I drove it. Always wanted a wagon but never had the opportunity (my absolute fave tbh). Had a fozzie too but it blew up after a month of ownership :0( I actually like spoilerless scoobs and reckon it's deffo the way forward.

Spotted this Legacy on my travels today. Turns out it belongs to a friend of a friend and is actually up for sale but I can't remember how much. Wasn't cheap though. Could find out if anyone's intrested. Edited to add: Just spoke to my mate and he said the guy's looking for 2.5K and spent an absolute fortune on it
(the zoom on E71's aren't very good so please excuse pic quality)
