I'm following this thread from the beginning, and I simply love it!
The sign on the side on the truck is one of the dutch firedept. Also the sign on the back "houdoe" is typically south-dutch and means some kind of take care! I didn't saw anything of the history of your truck, do you know anything 'bout it?
This is my firts post on the forum, I think there are not that much trucklovers on the forum. Also the truck and the old Transit on the forum I really enjoy! Keep us posted, the followers on this topic are huge for sure!

Hi i am going to do the side panels and door panels in veneer plywood then varnish so it keeps the vintage old look.A bed in the rear near the roller shutter door.I think i will have a remove - able sink cooker unit so i can take it out.A couple of cupboards made in Oak.I think i will do the inside bit by bit as i am running her.I was quoted 2.5k to get the inside done which i don't have so i will give it ago and try myself.Thanks for looking

Getting there.Really only need the door panels doing in plywood then varnish to give it the old look.This truck starts on the button first time.Miles 18,500 km which is about 12,000 miles not even run in yet,

Just read though your whole thread, your truck and the work you have done is brilliant. I will definitely be keeping an eye out for some more updates.

I will carry on or sell as is.You could use as is as everythink is about new no mot needed just tax insure as a classic fire truck as its cheap.I no its rare.I have spared no money as you can see.If she does not sell she stays.She sounds really nice.

I have no started to cover the rear wheel arch in plywood.I will varnish them after the best bit you will not even see them as the bed area will cover them up.before
