Racing car stolen from farm in Lutterworth
Police are appealing for witnesses following a burglary on a farm
in Mowsley, Lutterworth.
This incident occurred between 10pm on Wednesday September 17 and 7am on
Thursday September 18 when a vehicle and trailer were stolen from a
barn.
The vehicle, a white Rover Mini Cooper was attached to a Minno type
four-wheeled trailer with Brian James pained in red on the side when it
was stolen. The vehicle is used for racing and has a blue roof with
Scaffold Services written on it. There is a number 7 on both the driver
and passenger side of the vehicle, as well as the bonnet. There is no
seat in the passenger side of the vehicle.
PC Michelle Palmer, who is investigating this incident said: "We are
appealing to anyone who knows anything about this incident that can help
with our investigation.
"This vehicle is very distinctive and easily recognised. Have you seen
this vehicle? Do you work in the car racing industry and been offered
this vehicle for sale? If so please contact the police as soon as
possible."
