The following is a brief overview of the event taking place at Silverstone on April 3rd. EuropeanMotorSport will be entering three cars: Howard Kirkham # 14 Class A saloons, Simon Lewis # 45 Class B saloons and Jim Shea # 76 Class B saloons.
The event starts as usual with, sign on, scrutineering, drivers’ briefings and qualifying commencing at approximately 9am. There will be a wide variety of sports, GT, touring, historic and single seater cars racing. More details of the event will follow when we receive them.
SILVERSTONE 3rd APRIL 2004
Peterborough Motor Club’s Annual Silverstone Race Meeting on 3rd April 2004 will include TWO 15 LAP ALLCOMERS RACES for Saloons, GTs, Sports, Sports Racing and Clubman's cars.
Other races will be:
Twelve lap scratch Championship Preview Invitation Race for the Darlington and District Motor Club’s Northern Saloons and Sports Car Championship.
Twelve lap scratch race for the Jaguar Enthusiasts Club Parc Ferme Racing / Rotatech Saloon Challenge.
Twelve lap scratch race for the BARC SEC Southern Saloon and Sports Car Series Incorporating the InGear Motorsport Saloon Car Championship.
Two Twelve lap scratch races for the 2004 Monoposto Racing Championship.
Ten lap scratch race for the Trump Card 750 Formula Championship.
Twelve lap invitation race for the “Old Farts” Racing Series (drivers over fifty years of age) of non open wheel cars. This race will have a “staggered” start.
