UH OH! It's my girlfriends birthday today. I've got a fiver in my pocket. Do I: a) Buy a copy of Retro Rides and spend the rest on some cheap chocolates for her 2) Convince her that what she REALLY wants for her birthday is a copy of RR iii) Delay buying RR and get her something more expensive? I've already got her a main present by the way, I'm not THAT much of a cheapskate! for the continued prosperity in your relationship, I suggest that III is the best option... haha!

When I find someone trustworthy to do it for (alot) less than the ridiculous price Torque Developments want, then it's full steam ahead.
Still unsure as to whether a Turbo or Supercharged set-up would be best......

if you can go for supercharged i think, i reckon that would be awesome and supercharger's still keep that same NA power delivery feel to them.
arent M42's pretty expensive to fix if they go a bollock?

Yes. Cost you not only the shirt ff your back but the pants off yer ass too if they go tits up. Rebuilding one is a pricey business. I might start with a "spare" engine, just in case it doesn't work out!

how easy are spare engines to come buy since "is" prices seem to be sky high now? cool plan either way and car looked smart in the magazine.

You all think you have it bad-
Here in the US, it takes quite a few weeks to get it. I'm a subscriber and the mag used to come in a nice plastic baggie courtesy of the Queen and Royal Mail. I looked forward to getting Royal Mail and it became a joke around our house as to what car magazine did the queen send me this time...
Now with the new publisher or whatever, they've changed distribution. My magazine now ships from somewhere in Indiana or something like that. All it means is that the magazines take longer to get to US subscribers because they have to go to a wibblepoo distributor first.

Sorry for MG owners - I'm sure most of you agree - id hate to see every other article on marinas !!

Retro Car Club's in it too. That came as a surprise to me. I had emailed the magazine weeks ago but received no reply then I read the magazine yesterday to find the club mentioned!

Is that NickBs Beemer? That Skyline seems familiar too. That Skyline would be mine Got to wait until I get home on Thursday before I can read my copy now though. I promise to resolve the lack of Retro-Rides stickers before I show up for RCS too
