Just like a bus, you wait for ages, then two come along at once! Just after I bought my 132 1800ES, what I really wanted a Fiat 132 2000 was offered to me in response to one of my wanted ads. I just had to have it! 2 owners 54,000 miles, but it has been left to rot for a few years and needs work both mechanically and body wise. There are loads of pictures at: www.dropshots.com/132manHere are a couple of it as found:

I've just about managed to stop myself thinking 'donor' whenever I see one! They're far more interesting than a Morris Minor these days though.

My dad owned a few of these back in the day in the same bright green also!!! he had a bad accident in one once on blackice , flipped it on its roof into a ditch but the roof stayed pretty str8 considering, he loved em!!
I got fond memories being in the back with my bro's driving to and from Eastbourne in the early 80's!!

Got to drive it tonight on trade plates. It drives well and I found it an enjoyable experience.... Plans are to restore it as standard.

OK, today I got to play with my new 132. Decided to firstly clear out the rubbish (two bin bags full) and start cleaning it up. There are 35 new pictures at: www.dropshots.com/132manHere is a brief run down, firstly after a wash: Then after I had cleaned the drivers seat: And cleaned up the dash: The inside at least is starting to become a much more pleasant place to be! Hope to do some more tomorrow!

Can't beat washing a few years of muck off, looks x100 better already. You don't happen to have another set of wheels the same do you?

Yes, I have a few sets of 131/132 wheels. What size are you looking for 13" or 14"?

I changed the wheels as the tyres were dodgy. The bumpers are plastic with a silver coloured top. The weather stayed dry enough up here to finish valeting the inside. Here are some pics of how she is now: Charles finally makes a special guest appearance, this was the second load of dirty water in the operation! Now a much more inviting place to sit! I am sure my first drive would have been even more enjoyable if it had been like this inside!

Your old estate must have been a 131 was it, like this? As far as I know there was never a 132 Estate, although I do have a picture of a prototype.

dave,i was interested in one about 5 years ago,it was white 1800 4 speed car, very early, built in march 73 iirc, very low miles,it was in classic car weekly,I'm sure it was in the lincoln area, was all set to go down for it,but mobile got stolen and lost touch with the seller, maybe one to dig out aswell,i have some pics, will try to get them scanned in at some point,it was very very nice! and around the £500 mark aswell.
