Ok, bit of a f**ked up situation but need to loose one my cars and being that this is the newest it has to go I've only had it a few weeks but in that time I've driven it home (from devon to london) and driven it daily around london and up and down to ipswich and back and it purrs like a kitten all day long (500+ miles) Locked rear diff for lots of sideways fun. Has heavy duty springs on it which keep it super firm, the front is sitting on the bump stops but dez on here is selling some tein coilvers with camber adjust top plates from his old nissan 300 which would go on this rather nicely! Electric everything (windows, sunroof, central locking, aerial, speaks to you, backlit instrument cluster, etc) by far the most luxurious car ive ever had! Starts first turn of the key 2.4l Straight 6 with 168k on it (remember this is 1986 timewarp car) Interior is near imaculate, a tiny bit of wear on the drivers seat is it! 8 ball gear knob, chrome aftermarket steering wheel, tons of boot space, air horns (and normal horn) Rear silencer has been replaced with a cheery bomb but isn't loud due to the mid box still being there. Gives it a nice quiet burble, and has the sweetest sounding straight 6 when you give it hell (sounds better than my e30!!!) a few months ticket and 9 months tax on it. Recent HT leads, plugs, oil, filter, coil, blah blah blah. The car wont include the wheels pictured unless you have deep pockets. Without the wheels you are going to be in for a treat!!! Pretty much full service history, loads of old MOT's. The car has got to be £400 of anyones money. Keep the family happy with a big 'ol wagon with tons of room, then when they aint looking boot it round in the wet! Pulls like an absolute train on the motorway and would cruise all day long without skipping a beat. I really wasn't intending to sell it but these things happen

Surely you mean Dorset, not Devon! I know the previous owner, and that my old blue CROWN you can see behind in the first pic. Oh, and my old Laurel was lower than that!

LOL Yes Dorset, Sorry it was late when I posted this (after spending too long trying to work out a way to keep it) Yeah the guy I bought it off was a top guy, really nice. I thought he said the blue CROWN was his brothers? The one with the funky quad highlights on the front? ..and yes, you could make it go lower. coilovers up front would help sort that... and some 13" wires with a load of stretch that was my plan.

The CROWN was mine a long time ago, before the air-ride and blue paint. I miss it soooo much! Oh, and my Laurel had stock 14" alloys and tyres, and front coils chopped in half! lol

Can the diff be 'unlocked'? Or would it be a case of getting another diff?

unlocked? grow a pair my son. lol
anyways. sold? I only just got back off the blower from the insurance skinners, they won't touch it because it's modified, i tried to get round it by saying I'm not sure if its lowered or just collapsed like a metro or bx, but they knew my game and sniffed me out.
bastids, just tried elsewhere and they want 550 sheets! I don't even pay that for a 5 litre death trap. unbelievable, peed off now.
in true dragons den style.
I'm out, enjoy bevan, no doubt your 6000 years old and can get insurance for three old pence.

Can the diff be 'unlocked'? Or would it be a case of getting another diff? Lol, no mate, it is welded therefore replacing the spider gears (relatively easy and cheap) would be the only way around... although why would you want to? blip the throttle in the wet and its like fatal attraction!

it cant be unwelded and replacing the spider gear will be unlikely to achieve much as the case is probably deformed from the heat of the welding. but yeah, man up and drive it! also has custom made system 2 shocks and it does sound uber nice when you open it up, nicer than my 1jz powered mark II which is saying something. and you forgot the reversing music! also its been in J performance (postage stamp sized pic but still makes it a famous car lol) this was a standard c32 before i got hold of it lol. before: after:

that advertisement was when cookwibble (above) owned it and was selling it in feb 2007. From what I understand it changed hands several times in that time.
