One of the reasons why I scrapped my XR4x4  That was one of the rear chassis arms, the wonky steel bolt you can see inside the arm is where the rear beam bolted on |

why is it cars of the 60's 70's & early 80's always seem to have rotton sills, yet cars from the mid to late 80's & onward, rust in silly structural places  |

Ah yes, rust. I can certainly provide a few pictures of that! Few bits on the Land Rover: Chassis was held together with undeseal and glue:   Had to cut quite a lot of rust out!   Rusty arches and rusty brakes!  |
