my dream prodject would either be an Imp with 2 turbo'd suzuki hyabusa engines both good for 400 bhp with huge arches and with fraser imp racing livery 8 ;D ;D or a Ford granada dorchester limo slamed on hydrolics with a sofa bed in the back in a sort of limo surf wagen thing ,possibly converted into an estate running either a supercharged rover or chevy v8

curse word it I'm jumping on this imp banwagon, none of this rubbishy 2engined curse word,
just spaceframed with carbonfibre bodywork, and the orignal imp engine.. tuned to absolute curse word.

currents
a mk2 golf, with an engine that hits at least 12000 rpm, maybe an ex f1 lump or something, i dunno. with the funky reiger kits on. and huge bbs's with gold centres
mk2 escort, in black, with more chrome that is humanly possible, tailhappy as a happy tail, and cossie turbo power, about 400horses worth.
mustang gt500, or similar muscle car,m with a growling v8, that pops wheelies like that one in fast and furious ;D ;D.
sierra xr4x4 in hearing aid beige, with 1.6l gear slapped on in place of the xr tackle, a few dents, muddy, blue door ;D
wedge, with serious soundproofing, nice big diesel lump, proper motorway cruiser, and nice big stereo, ice etc, and big comfy bed. in that paint that looks o so nearly chrome, and black detailing.
mk1 golf, olive green, yellow vynil interior, euro'd up good and proper, with a zetec (yes a feckin zetec) so i can finally bring ford and vw together in holy matromy ;D.
i got hundreds running about.
oh, pug 307, white, or blue, blue lights behind the grill, and a cd with a recording of a siren ;D ;D

That last 5 series estate looks the badgers nadgers Chapel Like everyone else - the 'dream project' changes on a daily basis, those beemer pictures have got me thinking. I have a real 'thing' for beemer diesel engines, I'd love to take the latest 3.5l (I think) twin turbo - tune it to the max with bigger turbos, intercoolers & industrial sized/multiple diesel pumps & fit it into the original E28 M5. I quite like the sound of that new 3 litre six pot engine that is being fitted into the current six series and weighs just a little more than a K series - I bet that would be nice in a Cateraham Dream project which keep coming back to haunt me include G40ing my Derby - but keeping the look the same, abiet with a nice suitable retro re-trim (similar to that yellow MK1 Scirroco in the rocco thread) Also building a full super-touring car spec VX Nova - dry sumped Speiss tuned XE, mounted really low and far back in the engine bay, sequential gearbox, fully welded-in roll cage linking strut tops into a reinforced seam welded shell, ohlins remote reservoir shocks, AP brakes, Stack digital dash with data logging, Carbon panels everywhere - that should shut up the Nova doubters ;D

Todays dream project is a Herbie replica with some kind of air-cooled Porsche motor in it to give it a bit of extra umph.

Thanks to Hotwire ( ;D ): A breadvan polo with as many Ducati V-Twins as one can fit in a line in the back (2 or 3, one would think...), chain-driven to a solid rear axle, 6-linked. The other option would have the engines turned 90 degrees, sitting where the passenger seat would be (and slightly behind), chain driving a longitudinal prop to an independant rear end. Imagine the scream.... *n

A W116 450SEL 6.9 lightened as much as possible with an AMG spec engine and a 280SE badge on the back.
A Fiat 127 with Integrale running gear.
