I know this is old, but there was no where to post about it in the past. Lost my pride and joy in December 2003 from Bradford. It was a Gold and black Datsun Cherry N10 Coupe, reg no YEO***V. It had been in almost mint condition until I had an accident in it causing light damage to the bonnet, 1 headlight and 1 wing. I kept it behind my friend's house while I tried to source parts for it, but someone smashed one back window, and then the whole car disappeared about a week after. I don't think exporters took it as the Cherry is the only FWD Datsun, so they don't bother with them.
Let me dig out the DeLoren and I'll pop back and have a look!
When you do, give us a shout as I need a lift back to the early hours of January the 6th 1983 to catch the curse word, who stole my beautiful 1970 Rover 3500 P6, in the act. Havent seen it since..... That day was the worst birthday I ever had!!
If Typhoo put the Tea in Britain who put the c**t in Scunthorpe?
They are starting to export FWD gear now. Most of the RWD stuff has gone. I was in an exporters yard last week and there were Toyota Carinas, FWD Nissans & Toyotas amongst the stuff ready to cut up. Even Merc 307 / 308 vans are scarce now and they are onto sending Sprinter parts instead.
