tim: what do you mean? put the old dtm mirrors back on? was thinking bout f1 style mirror instead as they look like the oe polo ones but smaller. Swap the manta set over - left to right, right to left , i think they might look cool like in the mock up - stick out a bit more and look a bit better proportioned:

Square hole - round exhaust seems odd
I quite like most of the stuff you are doing although I can understand why you only experiment with spare parts
What I was impressed with is some jacking a Polo back up so it went round corners properly
Polo in non slammed shocker ;D

Having owned a G40 (a pitstop-tweaked black one, now t'other side of the irish sea), I can fully appreciate the need to have a fiddle with parts yourself and try to create something different. Mine was externally mostly standard save for late-model lamps and a debadged boot, this was a conscious decision as there's hardly anything styling-wise to go on the Mk3 Polo that's not been done to death. So thumbs up for trying something different. Not too sure on the bumpers, think the rear one looks a bit too DIY but the front one is growing on me every time i see the picture above, think it suits the car. Love the headlamps, always thought the standard lamps were rubbish for a 1.0 base model let alone a hot hatch. Wheels are teh secks and suit the car well, but the previous rims were also good and a nice change to ronal tubos and ats classics. I want J711KLY back
