The SWB 104 is a gem, lovely motor. I saw this 'normal' 104 S in Henley about a year ago....is it just a badge or does it actually have sporting aspirations?

The 5 door has sporting aspirations. It just fails to live up to them. Suspension is French soft, so it rolls along. 80BHP is OK but no firebrand. More a sort of tepid hatch. Still quite rare now. More practical than the coupe.

I love the look of these 104's. Ace. theres loads of poverty-spec ones in dark metallic green round me but not many sporty ones. and NO SWB ones at all.

Saw a similar one at a show in Milton Keynes once, at Bletchley Park.

Sounds like an evil pocket rocket ;D Saw a similar one at a show in Milton Keynes once, at Bletchley Park. That would be my mate Stuart Birds one. He was there with CPUK (Club Peugeot UK). Only 3 or 4 ZS's in the UK, 2 in CPUK and both blue with white wheels and silver stripes. Mine's faster though. ;D ;D

I thought that it looked chopped too, but I like it! Good work fella, and remember, when it all goes pearshaped there is bound to be a bike engine that can fit in there! BB ;D

Been a busy summer for the ZS. Here's how she looks now, from Prescott Hill and the classic car show at the NEC
