oooh , sorry , laptop (windows 7) , outlook , no ad blocker , luddite pressing buttons. hope that helps! OK I missed your reply sorry - for some reason probably down to me looking on multiple devices Right So when you go to upload a picture in a post or reply which do you press the "click here" down below or the "drop image to upload" or do you use the quick reply process Quick reply Click on the "add pictures" button - Navigate to a picture on your PC (you have to have a copy on your PC) Click on the picture and wait while it loads The picture is now inserted into the quick reply post Lets see how far you get with that - tell me where it all falls down PS I think there is a limit to the size of the image so pick something small to start with

still no joy. ive tried in both quick and full reply mode. i'm clicking [add pictures] , opening folder the image is in (small file size) , selecting item then click on "copy" button , I also tried double clicking on the image too , then wait and wait but no message to say uploading. tried dragging and dropping directly to screen in both modes too to no avail. I also tried moving the image directly to the desktop but that made no difference either.

With my HTC android phone I found going to desktop site and then I could download pics straight from pics on my phone without using a photo website. The only thing I've found is I can't add pics to my first threads I have to reply to them to get pics on here, but at least there on! I'm no techno bod either!

Ok, trying to update my avatar from the dead photobucket one, it's driving me absolutely f****** nuts!
So I'm on the profile avatar page. I click delete on the uploaded/linked section, to remove the current avatar. I click 'Use only the Uploaded/Linked' option A dialogue box opens up, with a 'Upload an image from your computer' option. I click 'Select Image'. A file browser opens with the image I want. It's 28KB and149x105 pixels. I select the image and click open. This sends me to the first dialogue box. No image uploads, nothing else loads, no options to do anything more.
It's driving me insane. I can't even link the photo which is on flickr, as every options tells me 'The link entered is not valid'/
Does this system actually work?

I've not read all 7 pages but just wondering if there's a limit on file size for photos, as I'm having trouble uploading them to posts. Thanks, Neil

Thanks, Neil For the forum upload function yes - can't remember what it is mind!!! This one scraped in after 1 min loading A reduced version of a different shot from the same day was up in seconds So it is worth re-sizing

any chance of re-titling the thread "PLEASE DO NOT USE PHOTOBUCKET" please? threads are being totally naffed up with blurred out images hosted by them. no doubt part of yet another extortion attempt!

Help.... Why are all the photos blurred out Halo on them about photobucket?! Didn't you get the email from them? From start of last week they're limiting bandwidth to 25BM for any members that don't pay a monthly fee, once you've used your allowance the photos are watermarked and blurred....
