So if you have clicked on a picture in your bucket your screen should look something like this (I say something like this because I've set my photobucket up just for forum sharing in it's most basic format - ie easiest) So if you click on the link information on the right you can just catch the PC copying the image - this was hard for me to capture as it only says copy for short time And because the PC remembers the last thing you copied Press Ctrl and V together to paste it in the thread Like this And all that was for one picture I like....... Offer still stands but I'd rather be in the garage.

Dear Bc
Thanks for all your help but I give up . Have spent over an hour just (it's 5.30 am !!! ) started at 4 to upload some pictures. I read then re read then re read what you have just posted. It makes no sense to me. Obviously you fully understand how to do it and must assume that I follow your instructions in your language. But no matter how hard I try something goes wrong.
I've wasted so much time on this over the past three years when a ladyfriend uploaded pictures of my 52Tmoggy from her computer and have now decided it's simply not for me. I'd rather be in my beautiful newly built stone built barn/workshop/garage/office working on the cars than fretting over this type of stuff.
It should be much more simple ,at least that's my humble opinion. See you at Shelsely with the Standard. What will you be in ? jonny

Hey Jon, It's complicated because you have to to all sorts of things and it involves code. I can understand it seems that way. On the other hand, you don't have to write, or understand the code....just click the mouse a bit. Here's my attempt at simplifying it: Go to your Photobucket page and click (with the left side of your mouse) on the photo you want to share. it should look a bit like this: You'll notice the bit I've added. Follow that instruction and click (with the left side of your mouse) in the box I've highlighted. It should briefly turn yellow and say 'copied'. Now go back to Retro-Rides, where you can open a reply box (or just the 'quick reply' will do). In the reply box click (with the RIGHT side of your mouse, this time) and choose 'paste'. Some code should appear in the reply box, it looks complicated but that shouldn't matter. When you finish and post the reply your picture should appear.

Depends what device you are using as well.
I can upload pics easy as anything on the pc, but on my ipad, its a royal pain in the butt. You have to download the Photobucket app, as 'normal' photobucket will not work.
Even now it can still be hit and miss.

Interesting point for me is that the images at the start of this thread are from my "OpelTuners" Free PB Account - I can't even remember the password for that account but the How to Post Images threads are on quite a few forums and not a single one of them has had images replaced with the ransom demand.....

ok...can I add post images via the "[add pictures] or Drag and Drop to upload! " bit at the bottom of the box without having them hosted elsewhere? ive tried / dragging / dropping / clicking / pasting / swearing / shouting , all to no avail. I normally use postimage but its just had a monk on me and wonder if it is possible to do without.

So as promised a few screenshots (I only do PC laptop as a rule but if I get chance I'll try to add phone) Start a post and if you want to add a picture click the add pictures request Navigate to where you have your picture Click on it to select and then wait while it does it's stuff Then you should find a link in the reply box to a picture hosted elsewhere Sorry for lack of cropping!!!
