Well, I don't like new Mini's and I make no secret of that. But as Rev9 said, it is irrelevant what they were driving, it's who was driving it and what they were doing. I have to say that most of the BMW Mini's I've seen have been driven by ar$eholes, cutting people up and driving on their back bumper, and that can't help but sway my judgement of them . I wasn't making any comment about you andy998imp, I'm sure you're a decent bloke. Besides, stereotypes have always been around and always will be. BMW drivers are seen to be wreckless and inconsiderate, Merc drivers pretty much the same (or old duffers), Volvo owners drive oblivious to whatever else is on the road..... these are widely held (and, yes, probably unfair) stereotypes but they've always been around.

i've calmed down a bit now,i have in the past got a lot of stick from narrow minded fools i worked with about my car.previously i had a lupo gti and a mk2 gti 8v before that and nothing ever got said, minute i got my mini they decided i must be gay,a hairdresser or some sort of fashion victim, and they never let it slide,so understandably i'm a bit touchy on the subject.maybe you guys should try one,for every test drive taken i'm offering a free hair cut(oops now the secrets out)
