Remember when these Rovers, along with Metros, could be found on near enough every road in my town. Never see them now though! This one being a 16v 214SLi too And believe this may be an Austin Healey 3000

I prefer older stuff & am not a fan of 'deliberate rust' but I had to take a pic of these two in the car park at work

....trying to avoid posting the plate Why? It's not as if anyone could use it, other than to have a pair made for their similar car and then drive through as many speed cameras as they can over the following 24 hours before removing the duplicate plate and leaving their victim dazed and confused when the fines come through! Plus Google Street View doesn't hide pre-1973 plates, or those from later cars that are illegally displaying non-reflective ones in the erroneous belief that anything VED free is allowed, so anyone who can actually be ar sed to use someone else's plate can get all they need from that source. Thanks Google. I was down at Shields this morning to take photos of this: [/img] which, as it turned out, had already managed to get out past the bar at stupid o' clock - hence the generic image of her docked in Japan - but is carrying a bB that's on its way to Germany for another forum member and I'd promised him that I'd get a photie of the massive vessel, which carries 8500 cars and could almost touch both sides of the Tyne at once it's that wide! However, the day wasn't totally lost as this.. [/img] was standing in the car park at the quays, looking all sparkly with its covering of dew. I'd guess that the occupants had spent their first (or maybe their last) night in the UK there rather than shell out for a Days Inn at £100 per night! Sadly, that was a Diesel one which is fine, but I'd love to see the version that had the BMC 1800 engine/gearbox unit hidden away under its front seats. I'm not the greatest fan of the loaf either, and would sooner have a FWD Hanomag like that one as they're that bit more interesting for me.

I suppose the main reason is because we don't have the owner's permission to post their plate online, i worked at a classic car garage as a welder/mot repairs and often we had nice cars in that i took a photo of but majority of the time the owner had asked NOT to post the plate online and some not even the car and i always ask the question at shows and again not everyone want someone else to post the plate online so i think we should respect that. Have a look at this and if you google it and ask the owners you will find the same answer forum.retro-rides.org/thread/188467/help-prevent-car-stolen?page=3
It's Plastidip! I was very impressed with this. The finish is satin-y but works really well and the colour looked much more vibrant and exciting in person than the pictures do it justice. Had a very brief chat with the owner, otherwise I wouldn't have known it was Plastidip.

Early Herald at Halfords. Long distance Landrover on whitewalls, of all things. What's extra strange is that it looked good on them!
