Too small lol. I wish I had the enthusiasm to be enthusiastic about it but it's become a "race on Sunday, hope that Matt & Co can fix my f**k up Monday" chore. On the plus side though you get to be part of such a cool thing. I mean, imagine if you were part of a team that races a car that almost drives itself, four wheel drive, traction control, launch control, doesn't even need tyre pressures changing... All you'd be doing is spending your weekend drinking beer and getting sunburn (despite there not being much sun!), and where's the fun in that

2. I wanted to ask what happened if I utterly fail to complete the vehicle In question in time? Is it transferable? I’m game to see if the body falls off the Dakota if pushed hard enough.. 😂 I reckon you should have a crack anyway, I assume it’ll be wearing high quality* commercial spec tyres that’ll be absolutely great* for roadholding😬

Some kind of ‘Supormoter all-terrain superweather challenger SUV deluxe’ so road holding will be.. some. 🤣

Good: One of my long term projects actually ended up drivable today, and I managed a 20 mile run back from the workshop in it.
Bad: it drives like complete ass and I hate it.
Worse: I'm in for about 4x what the car is worth.

Sounds like fun to me. At least they're not gambling their house to do something so far beyond their ability and means that it's never gonna end well.

This is my fear when I get the Datsun back... not because of any work quality, just because it is what it is.

Please type yes (and not followed by ",but No.") No, the Daimler. Today I am more reconciled to it. But it needs more work before its useable properly which is a bit frustrating - but par for the course in old cars.

It's been an intense week for me, with Le Mans Classic and then the problem fault finding afterwards. So naturally I'm off to the Spa Summer Classic right now to support a pal who's racing his E30 there.
Pics from both events in due course...

Also Tom got through to 3rd eliminations, so here’s a lupo doing a burnout, because it’s cool Burnouts and Wheelies... it's what Drag Racing is about. Anyone who disagrees is wrong! Tom is handily placed for the LuProET 2023 trophy to be honest.... strong burnouts, good reaction times and some pretty close-to-dialin runs... He'll get a million bonus points if he does a RWYB pass at Bug Jam with the 'L' Pyramid on the roof as well.

...and just like that /\ Tom has an unassailable lead in the LuProET championship for the next 100 years
