They are looking good! I'd have thought you could get a decent enough surface with the wire wheel, how are you going to paint them? Coloured centres? A couple of coats and some laquer and they will look the shiz. Satin black hammerite through the spray gun with an added colour on the centres that I haven't yet decided on

I am in such a hurry for the new project to get here, and to get a set of wheels to JamesP to do. Not sure what size width I am going to go for on 15's, but suspect that 1.5" front and 2.5" rear will do the thing.

Am watching this with intrest as I'm still intrested in getting some 10s done for the mini. Just wanna see if they stay sealed well after your "treatment" ad.

Am watching this with intrest as I'm still intrested in getting some 10s done for the mini. Just wanna see if they stay sealed well after your "treatment" ad. We'll found out soon enough! Should be painted tyred and fitted early next week

How soft are your shocks / springs? Is that going to need more stick, or is it going to tuck up nicel with some stretchy rubber?

I actually think it might need raising a bit to stop rubbage. This is how she sits normally: With a nice bit of tuck The kit is height adjustable and it's currently on it's centre setting, it can go up or down another 20mm, and I've got a coilover conversion kit on it's way for the front (3" just aint enough).

Didnt realise you running that low! What kit have you got on? Gonna look hot once you've got some tyres on. Currently on a PhilJ 70/60 kit, but I want the front down so low the driveshafts catch on the chassis rails ;D Paint and tyres ASAP I promise!
