Okaaaaaaaaaaaayy once again sorry for long time no postie!! I only get a few hours per week on the car so it has been slow over the summer. I have managed to source an original LHD GTi Phase 2 dash, which I have stripped and needs to be cleaned before flocking. Also sourced probably the only brand new Maxi Motorsport Carbon Fibre dash insert left in the world (£££!!!).....which is awesome but my Race Technology Dash2 is a few mm too tall for it, so rather than chop the centre part up, I can either make a bracket to go behind the steering wheel, or mount the digidash on the centre console part, not decided yet. To support the Dash 2 I have a Speedbox Mini from Race Technology which means I will have a speedo... I removed the sierra cosworth handbrake and raised it using a carbon platform, as having the mechanism through the tunnel meant the exhaut interferred with the cable routing. Also modified a GTi handbrake cover to fit so it sort looks factory. Source the rest of the Phase 2 dash parts and centre console....because this is a road/rally car I wanted it a little bit more friendly / better looking than just an alloy panel with switches! Fuel tank filler, filler tube, overflow vent and vent line all fitted. Engine bay is almost done, cooling pack refitted so fluids can almost go back in ready for test starting... The last big job is for me to source a custom wiring loom and someone to help me (I am dumn as f--k when it comes to wiring). Oh, and need to source a heated front screen. Also found a company to provide rally graphics, as it'll be having the later Group B style Peugeot Sport colours on the arches  |

Works for me!
A word of warning though.. people on and off FB can and will take your photos and re-post them without crediting you. Not so bad if you aren't overly fussed about publicity but can be very damaging if you're a business and rely on social media for spreading the word. FB's content protection really is terrible so if you're worried about that sort of thing then best to watermark your images.
