Thankfully I don't have a compressor. Otherwise I would be £79.99 lighter... I also really don't have the space, as much as I want one.

All sorts of spanner’s and socket sets also available He also bought a 12 v waste oil remover complete with catch can. Says it will be very useful for his yacht engine oil change 👍

I have a choice of 3 Lidl’s within a few miles of home, so decided to get to the largest early, so I might have time to hit the other two if they didn’t have any. There were three other blokes waiting for the doors to open at 0800 - and there were about 20 boxes in the crate.

Just been to my local one, armed with a mate who has a discount card! Two left and saved £8

Tried 3 local stores and even got the store manager to check others within his patch to see if they had any. Not on your Nelly! Actually feel like a disappointed kid at Christmas.... P.

I got quite excited after seeing the review on the Mig Welding forum www.mig-welding.co.uk/forum/threads/lidl-plasma-cutter.89053/Yup it is not perfect, will need a new earth lead and a bit of fiddling but for the money, and the amount of times I would use it, couldn't justify paying more. Only problem is they didn't have any... P.

Snagged one at 10 past 8 this morning, only left one, but don't know how many were there to start with. Will hopefully test it tomorrow, and report back Ttfn Glenn

With Lidl / Aldi you've got to be quick!
I arrived at my local store years ago to bag an ?£8.00? angle grinder. I was there 20 minutes before the store opened, a builder's van pulled up 5 minutes after me. I bought my angle grinder, he bought the rest of them!

Tried it out this morning, sliced through 1.5 and 3mmm steel with no trouble, not able to try on anything thicker as I didn't have any. The only slight problem was the airline connector was a bit of an odd size and tried to unplug itself. Would have no hesitation in recommending it Ttfn Glenn

Arrived at my local Lidl at just after 0900, after a squabble with the Mrs over "They'll still be there later....". Got the last one off the pallet. Got evils off a couple of blokes going in......:-) I think, after looking at it, that it is very close to one a company I used to work for bought many moons ago for a four-figure sum. Shows how things change!
