I bloody well hate electronics....
So, is there anybody out there that can help me work out what is wrong with the headlamps on an 05 Cooper S.
Car is equipped with the Bullet Xenon headlights.
Had intermittent problem with side lights randomly coming on when parked accompanied by mechanical noise.
Now N/S dipped beam not working - so at least it has made trouble shooting a bit easier!
Have transferred over the ignitor(?) on the back of the bulb to the drivers side - fault has stayed on the N/S
Light intermittently flickers on N/S but never comes on when ignition and headlamps on.
Mechanical noise traced to the headlamp adjustor motor running - this is all with the lights and ignition off.
How do I go about further diagnosis? Feels like it is a wring issue but not really sure how to test it.
Any pointers or advice willingly accepted.
Electrics just do my swede in...
