Awesome awesome pics. Thanks for sharing. A few of the cars there are Southeast Gasser regular competitors, so it's nice to see them outside of the SEGA event vids and photographs. This one...  ... is owned by a couple who bought it a few years back from a guy in (I think) Alaska who had used it to compete in ice drag racing for the car's entire life. So it spent it's life being thrown along frozen lakes with nailed tyres. When they first raced it all they did was to change the tyres. Amazing story! Yeah, the SEGA guys were the headline show but all that had finished by the time I got there I think, still nice to see some of the cars though! |

I tried to find a place where the car's full story is to link ot here, but the only example I have is what they said on their Facebook page and I didnt want to put a link to somebody's personal facebook page. |
