1999 Alfa Romeo GTV (916) 2.0 Twin Spark 16v Coupe Phase 2
Welcome to my listing for my Alfa Romeo GTV.
The car has done 129k miles and is one of the better examples with a lot of the major items having been done. It is in excellent mechanical condition and has evidently been well maintained over the years.
I bought the car based on service history as it has lots of receipts/paperwork showing all the work done in the last few years. The previous owner recently had the following done: new brake discs, pads and pipes, new exhaust from the manifold back, rear suspension overhaul with power flex bushes fitted, spring pans painted, new CV joints and gaiters, recent cambelt replacement, new thermostat, bonnet and boot struts, cleaned and undersealed underneath, detailed engine bay in black. The rear subframe was also replaced at great expense in the last few years.
Since owning the car I have had no issues whatsoever and it drives just as it should, a proper driver's car - the handling is fantastic and the twin spark engine is very responsive. It has not been modified (apart from the improved powerflex bushes) and has the correct standard 16" wheels which are all fitted with good premium tyres.
The bodywork is in good condition with no rust or major dents however the paint shows some lacquer peel in areas (common) which could be sorted to tidy it up and a few marks here and there as you would reasonably expect from the age.
The leather momo interior is all in good condition with just some signs of wear from age, it also comes with its original GTV car mats which are quite rare and also expensive.
The car comes with all 3 keys and its original booklets.
Only reason for selling is that I have just bought another Alfa and haven't got the space to keep both of them!
If you have any questions, feel free to ask.
I am open to near offers.
Thanks for looking.
