It was supposed to be throwing it down when I checked the weather yesterday, checked as I went to bed and forecast had changed to showers in the morning and then throwing it down at lunchtime...
But in reality it’s been absolutely lovely, so now feel like a cop out for not taking the Fug!
Anyway, some photos

Last bit, My favourite (I know, I’m biased to old aircooled VWs.... but he started it up whilst we were stood there ) And I think this may be part of the reason Toms photos are better than mine And that’s his penance for the modern Aventador photos I added

Great pics from both of you. But yeah, Tom's got the right idea, get low. I learnt that on here a while ago, it even works if, like me, you use your phone. You look like a tit, but the pics come out looking great.

What a great selection of cars. Toms pics are excellent (I liked yours too ) he obviously has an eye for it.
edit. When you said your battery had run out and Tom took over and it may be obvious, I was expecting to see pictures of his feet, the grass and a finger over the lens...but no!

Toms angle gives a great perspective.
Thank you both for taking the time to share.

Loads to like there. The flathead powered '32 roadster is probably the one I'd keep going back to if I was there, but the 2CV van is the car I'd actually want to take home.

What motor was in the split bug? Think it was 2.3 with magneto and twin 48ida

Indeed there was loads of great stuff. Hardly ever see a Chevy nomad, and there were 2 parked next to each other. There were a couple of F1 cars, they started one and played happy birthday with the computer changing revs and the other one they started and warmed up. Not my thing normally, but the diversity is great

And yeah, Tom is much better at photography than me... I get annoyed waiting for people to move, if I had to wait whilst crouching down I’d be even more annoyed

Not my thing normally, but the diversity is great I hate to be "one of those people" but the two Chevy station wagons aren't Nomads, they're 4 doors. Nomads are all 2 doors with a wide, sloping centre pillar. Those are still a rare sight though.
