For sale - My Audi Coupe 2.6 V6 FWD manual 5 speed, on 184,000 miles. This car has been fantastic to me but i've decided it needs to go to fund another project of mine i want to start.
It has the original Audi owners manual/folder with european breakdown Audi map and original sale date etc, a folder full of previous work dating back quite a few years & many many previous MOT's. All viewable online nowadays.
In my ownership, it's had an extensive amount of mechanical work carried out to bring it up to my standard. I enjoy driving a car, meaning how it performs outweighs cosmetics. There are a few imperfections in the form of bubbles of rust & laquer issues, but to me, they're minor and can be overlooked, all pictured and can be sent if you're interested.
In the last 4-5000 miles i've carried out the following work -
- New H&R 40mm springs (ride great)
- New Bilstein B4 dampers
- New front suspension top mounts
- New front anti-roll bar drop links
- Full engine service (Oil & filter, fuel filter, 6 x NGK spark plugs)
- Gearbox oil changed with Fuchs Titan Gear Oil
- New Ram Air foam filter & custom made aluminium intake pipework
- JVC head unit (Bluetooth audio, multi-phones, aux etc)
- LED lightbar mounted in the front radiator grille, this gives out incredible light when high beams are actuated, perfect for country lanes.
- Gates cambelt & waterpump kit, including all tension
ers/idlers/etc
- New thermostat
- Coolant flush & brand new coolant used
- New aux/alternator belt & tensioner
- New expansion tank & cap
- EBC yellowstuff brake pads fitted all round, still tonnes of life left
- New left front & rear brake calipers
- New brake caliper slider pins & boots all round
- Exhaust rear silencer delete (Sounds perfect with intake noise on wide open throttle, quiet when cruising)
- Reconditioned front wishbones (New bushings & ball joints)
- New right rear wheel bearing
- New rocker cover gaskets
- Removed breather system & fully cleaned and renewed seals
- Uprated type-200 brake fluid
- Front subframe removed, completely removed of any corrosion, strengthened where needed & painted/rust treated
- New front subframe bushings
- New front right outer driveshaft boot
The engine pulls very well, sounds fantastic and has been bulletproof, complimented by a trip across europe covering nearly 2000 miles recently without issue.
Any further questions or images needed please do ask. I also have a build thread on this site documenting a lot of the work i've done to it.
