Right guys, and any girls.
Another photo dump.
This whole write up takes time, a lot of time as every photo has to be edited individually etc.
So please quote pics of interest and ask questions
From Bass Pro Shop, we headed out to Nixa to go see some antiques shops.
These are massive, covering areas larger than many grocery stores.
So, on yer bike.
Another glider bench, not bought as way overpriced to what we like to pay.
One for Nick
luckyseven Love these hot rod plaques
So, when you travel on an airplane, you have limited baggage allowances, right??
Not if you are
craigrk Largest vintage, embossed Coke cooler to add to his collection of Coke stuff......
BOUGHT !!!
Remember last year, he bought the full mechanical stop sign off a school bus and carted it home in his baggage.
I recall brining a ski bag filled with chrome trim, stainless bed strips and a steering column for my Chevy C10 from Texas a few years ago.
However.......
Most random purchase of the day award goes to Adam, Dennisโ son.
He bought buddy Tyler who got me that bad bottle of Jim Beam last week, a VW Beetle door.
After all, what do you get a guy who is a VW fan, but has everything.......
So from Nixa, we headed further west toward Arkansas
Using a very meandering back road route, seeing loads of old cars, trucks, tractors and other cool stuff.
See the surprise on the barns face?
We eventually made it to one of Adams best mates, Coreyโs farm where they had just stopped for a break under the trees
When you work hard, you play hard, so Corey has a moto-X track and a load of bikes, quads and side by sides in his toy barn.
Adam took me around the Moto-Cross track in the side by side, interesting.
Corey has loads of old cars, trucks and implements on his farms, as does his dad and mum, they all farm independently and successfully..
Loved this Dodge service truck, one of a few on the farm.
After a few hours on the farm, and picking some of his barns for some pretty cool stuff, and helping his mum load a ton of dirt for some landscaping at her remodelled home, we headed to his dads one farm to see another car in a field.
Bought new by his grandfather and in the field many years, it is for sale.
Ahhhh yes, previous tenants moved out.
Interior needs work, but complete with resident hornet nests.
Back in the truck, headed out on back roads, we headed toward Cassville.
Family restaurant time for a very late lunch.
Anastasia, sweet, innocent and and the floor manager, plans on moving to the UK to study medicine......
Selfie time.
So sweet and demure, so asked her to put a bit of spirit into it.
Got this.....
Nice people.
Back in the truck after a couple of Fleamarket shops, which included me getting a pair of spurs, at last.
Craig also got something he wanted, a Coke belt buckle from 1975.
Back on the road, we hit the Arkansas state line soon.
This meant we had some way to go, but next stop would be Clem and Kimโs place in Fayetteville
My fifth year visiting this amazing couple.
They have recently converted their homes to AirB&B accommodation for rent.
Clem has also enlarged his shop space by a significant margin.
More in a while for the readers.
