Check through passport control, collect baggage and reload onto the next plane, wait, and then onto the next flight.
Yesterday was New York.
Lady Liberty leaving New York.
Then off to St Louis.
Love these airport facilities
Basic routine when we get to St Louis is call Dennis from the plane, he leaves the shop and heads out in afternoon traffic to collect us, we wait, he drives up, loads, beers open and we get into 5.30 traffic homeward down i70
Blanche Bridge over the Missouri River.
We then Drive to Roger and Debbies place to check out the latest toys, drink beer, eat deer sausage or whatever Debbie serves up.
Rogers lates build, it’s massive.....
Visible pump, going outside his shop.
Works every year.
Debbie, as always first ensured we had beers, then went to make us a sandwich and came back to ensure we were sorted.
HOSPITALITY ALL THE WAY.
Craig climbed in, as did I
Turkey door stopper sandwiches, Doritos, garden tomatoes.
Eventually we left them to head ho e to Dennis and Debbies place for dinner and to see the gang.
Over Rogers self built lake again.
Imagine this was your outlook from your front door.
Last thing Debbie gave us was some home made Peach moonshine....... report at a later point,
Back home it was the usual warm welcome, Debbie had cooked dinner and the beers were Cole.
Hanna, my heroine, and Adam in the background are getting married the 16th November.
Bryan, Debbies younger son was so excited the wedding date he was speechless, as it is the first day of rifle deer season, so he cannot go out hunting.
After dinner, more of this.
A lot of talking and reminiscing.
Bryan’s daughter, Skyler is 5 years old and allowed to start racing.....
Dennis and Adam a long time ago.
So the tradition of growing racers continues.
Eventually went to bed at 10pm USA time, which is 04.00 UK time, so 25 hours up.
craigrk and I both got 6 hours sleep, up at 04.00 and breakfast by 08.00
